Wilderness House is quiet and peaceful but with plenty to explore nearby. It's right by Olderfjord, and the views are stunning. During our ten days on the Lofoten Islands, we stayed in four different accommodations, including three nights at Wilderness House. Next time, we would spend more time here because we loved it so much, and then maybe a few days in Reine. Wilderness House is clean, welll equipped, cosy, spaceous, and comfortable. The friendly owners are nearby and happy to help if you need them. Olderfjord is great for a swim or canoe trip. We would love to come again.

Communication with our host was super easy and the house exceeded our expectation. Spacious, lovely decor, extra's to make you feel comfy and homely above the necessities, comfy linen and extra linen available when needed, a beautiful view, walks from your doorstep and easy to explore other sights nearby. We loved every minute of our stay here and have no problems highly recommending this place to others. All you want and more, even for a longer stay.

We had a great stay at Timea and Paul's place. Cleanliness is one of the essential things to us when searching for a place to stay, And this one did not disappoint us. Well-equipped kitchen, spacious open plan kitchen/living room for two of us, remote place, just a few houses dotted in the valley, a lake nearby with swans and ducks, did I even mention the amazing view? Wake up to the mountains, water, birds, and mooses surrounded. The hosts kindly lent us the carnoe, but it was too windy that day. Easy to reach the places we wanted to visit.

The house has a very nice view over the lake. The kitchen is well equipped and the owners are friendly and helpfull. They even let us charge our car. The house is located closely to the touristic towns hamingvear en svolvear.

The location of this cozy house is the best, near people, but far enough to have the feeling of disconnection. No light contamination, so it offers amazing posibilities to observe northern lights steps from home. The house is really well equiped, with everything needed for both short and long stays. At the kitchen (to cook, dishwasher, big refrigerator, oven), at the bathroom (shower, washing machine, dryer) and even outside when the snow covers everything. The size, perfect for a couple, or a family of 4. Big kitchen and sitting area with great views to the fjord. The owner is really nice, and always try to solve and help in anything that can appear. She even call a neighbour to help clean the road so our car could leave without problems. The house is super clean and well maintain. It is obvious that the owner dedicates time to have the house perfect.

The house is well located at Austvågøya. Sights like Svolvaer or Henningsvaer are accessible in less than 20 min. The house is located very quite at Olderfjorden. The owners are very friendly. The house is quite new, well equipped and comfortable.
