“I have long wanted to visit Urbino, and the Residenza Ambrogi was an ideal place to stay.”

The Residenza Ambrogi is fitted out to a very high standard, and is very well maintained. It is situated on the Piazzale Roma, right by the statue of Raphael, just outside the walls of the old town. There is a bit of a climb to get to it from the Piazza della Repulica, but walking anywhere in Urbino is going to involve hills.

Everything about the room was perfect, as were the communications with the owner. We could park our car safely and walk to the places we wanted to visit in Umbria.

The property was luxurious and perfectly located. It was a quiet refuge. The owner’s father met us in the garden and showed us his orto giving us delicious organic tomatoes. It was all great. Parking at the property was essential because it seems to be at a premium in Urbino.

Great location just outside of the old city walls next to a beautiful park, but close enough to be in the centre of town within mins by foot. The welcome was very friendly and efficient. Resources guides were made available in advance with restaurant suggestions nearby etc. The room itself was incredibly comfortable with a fantastic bathroom/shower. Even the upstairs neigbours were helpful and friendly when it came to parking. All in, a great find!

The studio was very spacious with beautiful furniture. The bed was very large and comfortable. There was a lovely large bathroom with great shower. There was tea and coffee facilities and lovely pastries suppled. It was very convenient for visiting the city.

Brilliant option for your stay in Urbino. Just outside the city walls it's beautifully appointed, super clean, charming and comfortable. The linen sheets are blissful - and the room is large and pleasant. There's a place to park my car, and the check-in and support was perfect. I'd definitely stay again.

“A dreamy stay”

Loved everything! The room was dreamy, with beautiful decoration and furniture, a neat minibar you will fall in love with, a clean, modern bathroom, and a comfy bed with crispy yet silky linen. Host Raffaella was very kind and friendly, She gave me a detailed introduction about the room and let me know useful tips to spend a good time in the city. She kindly kept my luggage after check-out, which I really appreciated. The garden view was refreshing and heartwarming. You can see a panoramic view of the hills from out there or up on the roof. The house is near the piazzale where statue of Raffael stands, which means it's located on one of the highest point in the old city of Urbino. It requires some climbing if you're coming back from the town's center, but the Santa Lucia bus station (and the shopping center) is a surprisingly short and easy walk.
