“Stylish grand old hotel but somewhat dated”

Old hotel with character just inside the town walls. The public areas are quite stylish. Breakfast was very good. Effiicient laundry service. Although the hotel is just inside the ZTL, parking spaces are available a few hundred yards away just outside the town wall. Almost all require payment at a meter.

We were lucky enough to park at Hotel San Dominica and, on seeing it, the exceptional receptionist managed to arrange a swap to stay there. In contrast to the Bonconte, the room was bright and airy with beautiful views. The Bonconte needs a refurbish. The carpets were worn and our room was small and dark.

The hotel was above my expectations! I loved it from the very first entrance, the staff was suuuper nice and friendly. The room was small and I booked a single room, but it still gave me a fancy, cozy vibe. The interior, toiletries, and design were luxurious. The view from the window was directly onto the old town, in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was wonderful – one of the best I’ve ever had. I sat in the inner courtyard among the trees, listening to the birds chirping. The whole experience at the hotel was absolutely excellent.

Very elegant, old-style hotel with modern fittings in bathroom. Extremely helpful front-desk reception staff. Excellent location within the Urbino city walls. The best hotel breakfast we had in Italy, on the delightful terrace. Fridge in the room. Lift!

The room was comfortable, the bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast was yummy and the breakfast terrace was super. The hotel is near the town centre. It felt very safe.

Wonderful bathroom and great location within walls, close to the main attractions. Just a small note—exploring Urbino requires a bit of stamina due to its hilly streets, but it adds to the charm of the city! Although I didn’t have breakfast during my stay, I happened to walk by the breakfast area and it looked fantastic, with plenty of delicious options. I’ll certainly make a point to try it next time!
