The contact with Oriano was perfect! He is very punctual, explained very clear where to meet, how to enter the parking and how to reach the beautiful house. Everything you need for a pleasant stay in Urbino is in the house. We enjoyed sitting in the garden overlooking the old city.

Casa la Piazzetta Rinascimentale is the sweetest cottage within the walls of Urbino. It is situated in a little square that was a joy to walk into each day after exploring the city. The views, even from the square, were magnificant. Oriano collected me at the bus station on arrival, showed me around the house and took me through a map of Urbino for places I might need. The decor of the cottage is lovely, it's well-equipped and it was spotlessly clean (Rosanna's doing!). Oriano and Rosanna are wonderful hosts - friendly and helpful. I loved my stay in their adorable cottage.

Everything was perfect. The host was very kind and thoughtful. The house was well equiped and spotlessly clean. The location was good - on the wall near Porta Valbona. We enjoyed the little terraced garden, which caught the sun and had a view up to the ducal palace.

The apartment was really lovely, cozy and crystal clean. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was also salt, sugar, coffee and water ready. Special attention was also paid to the sorting of garbage. A wonderful surprise was a washing machine and various detergents and fabric softener. The terrace and small yard and the view from there was wonderful. Everything had been thought of and we couldn't have hoped for more. Oriano and Rosanna were great and really helpful hosts. The world would be a better place if there were more people like them. Thank you for everything!

“Ideal place to stay in Urbino”

The location of the property is perfect for exploring the wonderful town of Urbino, and the attention and communication of the owners was outstanding. Oriano met us at the bus station and also provided us with an onwards transfer when our plans were disrupted by local road closures. His kindness was greatly appreciated. The house was quiet, clean and comfortable, and it was nice to have a small garden in which to sit and admire the spectacular views over the town.

The attention to detail of things like writing paper and pens, condiments and tea making facilities and coffee machine, umbrellas, extra towels and blankets and extra little touches, made this property feel like home from the outset. Certainly an outstanding location, absolutely spotless, and the outside terrace affording spectacular views. Being met so graciously by the owner and farewelled by this beautiful couple, made our 5 day stay very special.

We both loved everything about this property. It was very clean, very well appointed/furnished, extremely quiet, very close to parking, restaurants and all of the amazing sites of Urbino. Oriano and Rosanna were very easy to deal with. The courtyard was wonderful to sit in for a rest and recovery. We would stay here again with absolute certainty. With 4 trips to Italy in 6 years, Urbino is now one of my favourite towns and Casa la Piazzetta is now most likely my favourite accomodation

We had noticed the outstanding reviews of this little house when looking for somewhere to stay in Urbino and it completely lived up to them! The position is wonderful, right inside the city walls and the house is charming, well appointed with everything you might need and absolutely spotless. Our host was great at communicating with us, and extremely helpful and friendly, he met us at the apartment, and sorted out parking for us too which was a real bonus. For me the best bit was the gorgeous little outdoor terrace and tiny garden under a tree, where we could sit and eat breakfast and enjoy a late night drink, looking at the view. The house also had air conditioning which, in the hot spell we had when we were there, was a blessing. Would thoroughly recommend in every way to anyone wanting a place to stay in this beautiful little town, which, as it is not near an airport or a train station, is not spoiled by tourists, even in high season. I hope to return!
