“Perfect place to relax and feel part of the city”

Perfect location right in the centre of Urbino. Beautiful old palazzo, 2 huge bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, comfortable beds, a tiny kitchenette enough to make coffee or heat up some water bit not really to cook meals. 2 huge beautiful living rooms, nice ro spend the evening relaxing and chatting. Nice big windows, but very quiet! Rooms were heated perfectly, not too cold or hot. Maria, the owner, lives upstairs in the same building and is very welcoming and friendly.

“Like staying in a 17C palace - unforgettable!”

Staying in this apartment was an experience. It truly was (and still is, sort of) a palace built in 1614. Maria has restored most the rooms, including frescos on the walls and ceilings. Th entry ceiling is 30' high with all other ceilings at least 12' high. It was great to wake up to every morning. The apartment is also huge - lots of room, except in the kitchen. Svitlana was an excellent communicator and had every room spotless.

The apartment is beautiful - very spacious rooms in an old palazzo with a grand piano in the sitting room. The friend I was travelling with plays the piano so this was a real treat. The views from the windows in the morning were stunning. Beds comfy, good wifi, two bathrooms and the location could not be better.

The most amazing apartment, truly wonderful. Urbino is such a special little town, the heart of the renaissance, to stay in such a delightful palazzo was a pleasure. Excellent beds, excellent everything apart from the non-functioning washing machine.

It was a privilege to stay in the apartment of Roberto and Maria. The style and luxury were beyond our expectations.

Everything was amazing and the apartment itself was a treat. The photos don't do it justice. If we weren’t travelling down the Adriatic coast from Udine to Puglia, we wouldn’t have known about, let alone stayed at this incredible place. A world heritage site, Urbino is a 15th century walled city located in the Marche region. We only stayed one night here, but lucky for us it was a Monday, so this awesome airbnb was available for us to stay in. Because of it’s Palatial and historical vibes, it felt like we had been transported in time. Would just love to come back and stay here again. As the Airbnb guy Roberto said on our departure, “You get to live like a King or a Queen when you stay here” and he was certainly not wrong.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience staying at a room within a palazzo. The apartment has all modern facilities and lots of fabulous artwork and artefacts, a music hall as well as a dining room. Unbeatable location two minutes from Palazzo Ducale. There is a garden for guests’ use as well. Cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting this Renaissance city.

Fantastic decor and space - it is huge and just as sensational as the photos suggest. Also the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Urbino. Maria was very helpful, particularly in explaining how to park in the Mercato Carpark and pay to stay 3 days plus getting a 2€ ticket to park outside the apartment for 30 minutes to unload the luggage. Returning to the Carpark and buying a 0.5€ ride up the elevator (go to the info office in Carpark and they’ll sort it out for you!).
