Albergo Italia was Urbino’s first hotel. Set in the historic centre, it is a 5-minute walk from Palazzo Ducale. This hotel offers free WiFi throughout and rooms with a flat-screen satellite TV. “Characterless.”
The room was extremely basic - beds were tiny, hardly comfortable; the bathroom was tiny, with only the very basics. Not even courtesy water for drinking. We could hear noise coming from the other rooms. The hotel has no actual parking - there is a paid parking lot nearby. Breakfast was nothing special, and the breakfast room was small and on our last day, with a large group having breakfast at the same time, it was hard to move around and get stuff (including hot drinks from the only one person at the bar).

The location was excellent, in the historic centre just steps from everything. The staff were very friendly, the room was just right and breakfast was good. Certainly value for money!

“Good value and great location for seeing the historical sites of Urbino”
Convenient, comfortable, classic hotel. Close to major sites and restaurants. Excellent breakfast with both sweet and savoury items. We arrived by car and had been sent instructions on where to park. We had arrived mid morning and they allowed us to check in early, which was very welcome.
