“It's a good place, good location. Restaurant on the roof was amazing.”
Very good food in the restaurant on the roof, great prices, especially local breakfasts, masala tea and seafood kottu! Very helpful host and staff. You only have to ask, and they will answer all your questions, arrange everything you need, not only locally but they have connections around the island. I had to work online a bit from 11 pm to 2 am, doing it on the roof in a comfortable chair was a pleasure. Good quality for the money.

“Clean AC rooms”
The AC in the room makes a plus. The owner can drive you anywhere by tuk tuk and rent a scooter. Upuveli is definitely the place to stay on the east coast
