We had a great time and really enjoyed it. The location isn't ideal if you don't have a car, but Marcela took care of everything for us and was a huge help. Everything is very clean and well-maintained, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Thanks !! :) & thanks for the delicious meal and the homemade fry jacks. :)

“A paradise amongst the trees”

Great location for travelling to Pine Ridge with its attractions, the Caracol Mayan site (now paved all the way from the George Price Highway) and St Ignacio. A superb hidden paradise in the trees, close views of wildlife including humming birds. Marcela was a wonderful host, well informed and friendly, and she oversees a great little kitchen producing excellent food (breakfasts and evening meals). The plunge pool is wonderfully cool even on the hottest day, defying laws of thermodynamics?? The outdoor showers were great, even on the second day in a tropical rain shower.

Lovely spot for visiting Mayan ruins and caves. Marcela and Eva were very helpful - arranging tours and transportation. Home cooked food was delicious.

Marcela takes great care of her guests and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The property and accommodation are very clean and extremely well maintained. Green Valley Inn truly feels like a small oasis. The pool was clean and well kept. We can highly recommend this place.

Everything about Green Valley Inn was great. The outdoor showers the layout of the property and the cabins comfortable and fun. The location is great just off the highway and close to all the tourist tours as well as San Ignacio.

“Wonderful cabins, hosts, and chefs”

Absolutely wonderful. Rooms were classy and spotless, Marcela and her team were so kind and caring. She anticipated what our family may be interested in, making special dishes for our daughters at breakfast and dinner. Her cooking is delicious, I think she's a foodie and it was wonderful having fresh home cooked meals after several days of eating at restaurants. The pool was spotless too, and Marcela arranged tours for us. The caves were all closed due to rain on the scheduled day and she let us know right away, and suggested alternatives that our family really enjoyed. Thank you so much Marcela and team, for giving us such a memorable stay!

Absolutely fabulous. Beautiful surrounding, like if you were in the jungle. Very friendly and helpful owner Marcela. A really sweet lady. Nice dip pool. It’s a small paradise in the jungle.

“Perfect place to stay and relax with a group”

Green Valley Inn is a fabulous oasis. Our group - three families including 5 teens - stayed for 5 nights. It was the perfect place for us to all have our own space but spend time together. The grounds were beautiful with loads of native birds. The cabins were clean and comfortable. Marcela was a gracious host, allowing us to spread out over all of the cabins, cooking delicious meals with Eva (fried jack! coconut rice!), and just generally taking care of us. She arranged for two great guides - Elias & Michael - to take us to the ATM cave. They were perfect for our group. Highly recommend staying here - it was a slice of heaven for our group.

Incredibly warm and friendly hosting from Marcela and Eva, in a tranquil paradise. Just a short drive to the ATM cave which was well worth a visit, and then great to relax by the pool back at the accommodation. I stayed in the treehouse which was wonderful, and all the small things had been considered so it really felt like home. The home cooked meals were excellent. It really felt as though Marcela and Eva truly want guests to have a great time, and they take great care to make sure this happens.

The location itself is beautiful. The gardens are amazing and so well looked after. Marcela and her team make you feel at home. They cook delicious meals which were really appreciated after always eating out during the rest of the trip. Marcela also helped us organise any tours and she always kept us informed. All in all, a lovely place and a lovely team. We only stayed for 2 nights but I wish we had stayed for a week! So much to do around the area as well. Will be back :)

“A true paradise!”

We had a wonderful stay in this piece of heaven. We stayed in one of the wooden lodges with warm (!!) outdoor showers. If you look up you just see the trees and birds! We saw and heard the toucan from our room, saw the hummingbirds sitting in the trees and around the feeder, and even heard a nightjar at night! There is a small fridge with beverages to purchase in the room, and free coffee and tea. The food at breakfast and dinner is wonderful (I tried many new things) and there is always good energy in the kitchen, everyone is so friendly! Marcella also has a lot of really helpful travel advice and always looked out for how to help! :) Thank you so much for this amazing stay!

“Lovely relaxing are to spend a few days.”

The property was gorgeous. Calm and relaxing with lots of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The host was so friendly and gave us lots of information about the area, and the breakfasts were delicious. The location was convenient for everything we wanted to do whil ewe were there.
