Super beautiful and tranquil, with amazing views. Everyone, including the dogs and chickens, are very welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer so we could wonder down to the river close to the property. Hoping we will return to this spot soon in the near future!

Superbly equipped and very tastefully furnished cottage with great views of the southern Drakensberg. Very clean and comfortable with a cosy indoor fireplace and an outdoor one as well. Virginia and John, and their dogs, warmly welcomed us and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We loved everything about the place and could not have made a better choice.

This is by far one of the best places we have stayed. John and Virginia are delightful hosts and their attention to detail is impeccable. The property is so well situated with amazing day light mountain views and night time star gazing opportunities on a blanket right next to a bonfire in the middle of winter. The fire pit was our favorite place to be and the occasional visits by the different animals on the property were highlights to our stay. The place was very cosy and extremely well equipped, down to the telescopic s’mores forks ;-)

Such a lovely stay! Virginia and John's hospitality is next level. The cottage is very comfortable and has everything one can think of in it. The cozy fireplace was amazing in the cold. The animals around us gave a real farm feel which we also loved. We will definitely recommend this cottage and will be back. Thanks a million!
