Overview
Situated a short drive from the town centre of Underberg, Pin Oak Cottage is a spacious self-catering cottage with views of the of the Southern Drakensberg. Pin Oak Cottage has 4 en suite bedrooms, 2 of which are situated in the main house while the other 2 bedrooms are located in the courtyard area out the back door. Towels and bed linen are provided and all bedrooms are equipped with extra blankets and electric blankets. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and all cooking crockery and cutlery. The entrance leads into a spacious open plan dining/lounge area with a log burning fireplace. One bundle of firewood is provided complimentary and additional firewood can be purchased on site. The cottage is serviced daily. Parking is available for 4 vehicles, 2 of which can use a double garage. The surrounding area offers hiking, fishing, trail running, mountain biking, tubing and horse trails. Underberg Country Club is within 5 minutes' drive.

There were too many plants within the property, we saw a snake on the first nite in the front area of the house (not comfortable) .

Location was outstanding. Great view of the Drakensberg and Sani Pass. Beautiful gardens. Wonderful the Malawian House Valet was absolutely wonderful! Our beds were always remade, pillows and cushions puffed up like that in an up -market resort, fresh scented roses put in little vases in our bedrooms and lounge. He was always smiling and willing. he even made our fires each evening. A simply wonderful home - great value for money.

Everything about the place, great location not far from any facilities you would need should you not wish or feel like cooking. Great welcome from our host Wonderful. Very accommodative, accepting us before check in and willing to let us stay beyond check out - didn't feel rushed at all. Beautiful garden and place had entities you need to make it a pleasant stay.. Inside it's so quiet you wouldn't notice that the main road isn't too far..
