The place was beautiful but the cottage needed to be cleaned well. Looks like the previous people had a dog they and alot off dog hair was all over. The bees was also very bad.

True rustic experience , with true value for the money. Wall heater and gas heater were great to fend off the extreme cold mountain air, and the cozy blankets were welcome indeed!

Fully equipped kitchen with gas stoves. Blankets for our knees! The beds were super comfortable and we really liked the cottage and view on some parts of the mountains. Nice bath sheets and HOT water to shower!!!!

Lovely setting and facilities are comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The road to the property is a challenge however and we would have struggled without a 4x4.

Beautiful views, very peaceful, close to Underberg and easy to get to. Our host Amy was very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to use the bathroom in the main house while they prepared the unit for us. The unit is well equipped and has a gas heater was much needed on our visit. The night skies are stunning, wish I had carried a telescope along. We could hear owl and black back jackal at night and could see Cape Vulture and Yellow billed kite during the day. This is a great place to book if you are visiting the Mzimkulu Vulture Hide, as you are literally 2 minutes away from the hide entrance.

Perfect setting, beautiful location, cozy accommodation. Perfect for our family.
