“Best choice in Lüneburger Heide!”

Great location in historic building with thatched roof. Great food, dinner as well as the breakfast buffet. Also excellent that you can have your e-car charged over night at a very reasonable price.

“Good quality hotel in a lovely village”

This was a last minute booking that turned out to be better than expected. There was safe undercover storage for our bicycles in a shed. The room was a little small but comfortable. The windows allowed us to cool the room at night. Drinks on the terrace in the afternoon and breakfast in the large glass room were really nice. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a really good restaurant in town, the Alter Schmiedehof. The only slight annoyance was the sloping ceiling behind the bed which made it impossible to sit up in bed.

“Superb location”

Stunning location right by the Heide. Several hiking paths in the immediate surroundings, and I can highly recommend the 9km loop that takes you via Wilseder Berg. Awe inspiring, even in late July, weeks before the flowers reach their peak bloom. Room was cosy and quaint, and well cleaned. Bathroom was more modern than the style of the hotel would suggest, which was a welcome surprise. Bed was very comfy as well.

Nice quiet place in the middle of the woods. Great food. Rooms have plenty of space. Are clean and warm or cool, depends on the day.

The Hotel „Undeloher Hof“ is located in a small pittoresque Heide Village in the Southern end of Hamburg. It is a very nice local place with a fresh and tasty kitchen, comfy rooms and a nice terrace to enjoy a cold and fresh local beer after arrival. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, all perfect, sufficient parking right in front of the Hotel. A place to surely book again on our next trip to the North, highly recommendable.

“A beautiful oasis in beautiful nature”

We knew the area, but not the hotel, we were supposed to have a last night on our way to Denmark from Italy. We were pleasantly surprised by the area, the hotel, the room and the food. We will choose to come back for a few days' holiday with more time for trips in the beautiful nature

“Fairytale like place, but needs some healthier additions to breakfast buffet.”

It was very clean, quiet and cosy. The room seemed to have been furnished in the 80s, but because it was clean and seemed unused, it had a charm of its own, almost like traveling back in time. The hotel itself has a very charming fairytale like building and there were some lovely cats around too, which is a plus for all animal lovers.

Pillows . Didn't sleep well as to soft! Woken up by a couple coming in at 2am that were noisy till 3 am in there room next door.!
