“Beautiful hotel, 100% worth a stay”

An absolutely beautiful beautiful hotel. I cannot fault anything! Dinner was lovely, breakfast was amazing. You can sit on the wall at the bottom of the garden area and watch the turtles swimming. The hotel was perfectly clean. Very helpful and attentive staff. The hotel is quiet, plenty of sunbeds. Slightly out the way of the main town areas for restaurants but there’s still several you can walk to. Would 100% come back here again.

The bathroom was bigger than the bedroom, and made us feel like we were in a presidentail suite

Instagram efect is really woow, everything is nice .. The first impression of Selenyia Talpe is truly breathtaking. The property, garden, pool, and overall design are among the most beautiful I have ever seen. The resort itself easily creates a “wow effect” upon arrival. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.

Gorgeous property, well decorated, cozy with a lovely pool. Great tea options in the room. Well maintained property and good ala carte breakfast.

“Spacious rooms, peaceful atmosphere”

We had a wonderful stay at this incredibly beautiful and peaceful hotel. The rooms are very spacious, and the whole property feels calm and well maintained. We especially enjoyed spending time by the pool area and being so close to the beach – it was the perfect place to relax. The location is excellent as well. Being close to Galle, Unawatuna, Koggala, and Mirissa made it easy to explore the surrounding area, and there is so much to discover nearby. A special mention goes to the manager, Suresh. He was very attentive and checked in with us every morning at breakfast (which, by the way, was delicious) to make sure everything was alright. He clearly puts a lot of effort into ensuring that the young, all-male staff take good care of the hotel and the grounds.

“Wonderful peaceful stay”

The property was quiet away from the main area which was perfect for a restful few days. Just 10 mins in tuk for £2 and in the Main Street with doos and restaurants. Perfect

“Stunning boutique property with fantastic hospitality”

Amazing property and superb hospitality. Would thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel. Peaceful and delightful decoration to chill and unwind in close to some attractions. Stunning views of the beach and turtle spotting in the evening watching the sunset along with visits to the garden by the peacocks and monkeys . Fantastic staff who are keen to make your stay memorable. The manager Suresh was very welcoming and provided complimentary mocktails And Tharusha who served breakfast and evening meals as well as making amazing rabbit towel art. The chef provided amazing breakfast and meals the prawn curry was delicious!. We don’t want to leave and will definitely return for longer next time!

“Great stay!”

The property is beautiful. We stayed in a sea view suite and it was superb. We loved the stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Location is great, just on the beach. At evening you can watch the turtles. Just a couple of things that could do with attention but does not taint our stay and would definitely come back. No batteries in TV remote so couldn’t watch tv. Very limited drinks available in the bar, no sodas, no bottles of water, no English breakfast tea. Alcohol has to be bought by the bottle so not available by glass. We ended up doing a Pick me grab with refreshments. It was a wonderful stay!

Nice location, quiet and calm. The beach is not acceptable for swimming but it looks like an advantage of this place because you can hear only ocean without any loud music. So this place is really good if you are looking for silence

The staff were excellent, especially the manager, Suresh - always with a smile! The location was excellent, and the hotel was very clean, and beautifully designed. The breakfasts were amazing - and very healthy.

I really loved the peaceful and private atmosphere of the property. The location is beautiful and calm, perfect for relaxing and switching off. The design of the place is very tasteful, and everything felt clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully done. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it felt like a perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
