A beautiful hidden retreat just off the main road to Unawatuna. The resort is set amongst mature trees surrounding a glorious emerald-green pool, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is split into apartments/chalets and hotel rooms. We stayed in the hotel room area, which was very thoughtfully and uniquely designed. Each floor has a semi open-air communal space with a kitchen area, washing machine and lounge seating with a sofa, which was a lovely touch. The dining room overlooks the pool area and serves a sumptuous breakfast, with eggs and traditional hoppers cooked to order — definitely worth lingering over. The staff were extremely friendly, obliging, and professional throughout our stay. They even went out of their way to help me with a visa application I needed to complete while we were there, which was hugely appreciated. The hotel is only a short tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna village and its gorgeous beach, with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. A little further along, but still only a short tuk-tuk ride away, is Turtle Beach, where we saw the amazing giant turtles. We only wished we had stayed longer. It has a wonderfully relaxing environment in a fantastic location, and we would highly recommend it.

This Place is a dream. The staff is very friendly and they help you with everything you need. The rooms are big and very beautiful .The pool is big enough . We loved our stay and instead of staying one night we stayed two. The breakfast is a buffet. I really recommend this place.

Lovely luxury room. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom and shower, great to have kitchen with fridge. Roughly 20 mins walk to beach.

The view is absolutely worth the effort – there are quite a few stairs, but every step is rewarded with breathtaking scenery. The service was excellent, and the staff were wonderful, attentive, and professional. During our stay, a lift was being installed, which will make future visits even more comfortable. Wishing you many happy guests – you truly deserve it!

Outstanding. Everything about the hotel and luxury villas suited us. From the wonderful security men working the gate, the ladies working the office, all the lads sorting maintenance, room service and just generally looking after you. Not forgetting the cleaning lady, nothing was too much. And is by far our favourite hotel so far

“The best luxury (and affordable!) stay in Unawatuna”

This was the first stop on our anniversary trip to Sri Lanka, and it outdid every expectation. We were given the best room in the hotel, with a spectacular view. The room was super clean, spacious, and smelt AMAZING. There is a security guard on at all times, and it felt like a very safe and secluded environment. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and did everything to make the stay extra special. Very close to fabulous beaches and the best food spots. Cannot recommend more if you want to stay in Unawatuna/Galle.

This place is a dream... So beautifully designed! We were kindly offered a free upgrade to a chalet with kitchen which was very useful. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, absotely loved it! The use of a washing machine was also a game changer. The facilities are of course amazing however what really makes this place wonderful is the staff - they were so attentive and warm with us and our baby girl. Really lovely people ☺️ If we come back to Unawatuna we will definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything 🙏

This hotel is amazing we absolutely loved our stay here. The staff are attentive, the rooms are huge and well cleaned, and the value for money is the best we experienced in Sri Lanka.

Stunning Place! Very Modern Loved the stocked tea / coffee area and the communal washing machine and drying facilities. Very helpful when you’ve been backpacking for a couple of weeks. The staff were outstanding, especially Sasini who took very good care of us!

Loved everything about this place. As soon as you step thru the gate you feel like you are in a little piece of paradise. Staff are all so helpful, friendly & smiley. Stayed here for 4 nights & the rooms were amazing. You won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Simply dream villas! During our stay, some of the villas were still under construction, but honestly, it was one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka. The property with amenities truly feels like a five-star experience. If you stay in one of the upper villas, just be ready for a few stairs — but it’s great exercise and totally worth the views. The staff were unbelievably kind. They made sure we felt welcome at every moment, sent helpful WhatsApp updates, and even upgraded us because of the construction without us ever asking. Their attention, hospitality, and genuine care really made our stay special. Thank you! We’re truly grateful for their kindness and for making us feel so welcome.

We had a lovely stay at villa Rumassala, so much so we have arranged to return already. The staff are lovely and very attentive and the location is perfect, about a 20/25 minute walk to Unawatuna beach or a quick tuktuk journey if you don’t enjoy walking. Breakfast was lovely also with lots of options . We also had a room with a kitchen and they supplied everything that we needed to make meals etc

Very peaceful stay here! Great location for a day trip to Galle and experience night life of Unawatuna. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay, highly recommend! Thank you x
