Beautiful hotel in the jungle. Room was big and clean, beds comfortable, swimming pool clean and warm. Very friendly owners

“amazing place and hosts”

We stayed there one night. The price was reasonable. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the hosts were amazing. They helped us with everything we need immediately. And we ordered breakfast which was delicious. The villa is in a very silent location. We will come back next year for sure.

“Disappointing stay due to host behaviour”

Initially, the hotel seemed acceptable for the price. The Wi-Fi worked well, and the room was functional, although there was visible mould on the pillows and walls. The garden area was pleasant, but the swimming pool was murky and did not appear suitable or safe for swimming.

The villa is set in a beautiful location views of the jungle and the garden are amazing. So peaceful here and the true nature is awesome. Nila and his family can’t do enough for you. They are very friendly and so helpful. The only issue (which was overcome) is getting to the property. We like others were quite surprised when we arrived of the feeling of remoteness, especially if you have quite a drive already. However what you don’t realise is that it doesn’t look it when you arrive but it is literally only a 10 min walk down the road to the main village road where a Tuk Tuk can easily be found to take you to the main tourist area of Unawatuna for 500 LK. If you like peace and quiet and being in nature but not too far from the amenities and hussle and bustle of the busy areas this is your place. To open your doors in the morning sunshine lay in bed and see that view hearing peacocks and monkeys is quite awesome.

“Friendly relaxed comfortable stay surrounded by nature with delicious breakfast”

Nila and his lovely wife were so kind and made our stay really special. We had the top floor which has an absolutely amazing view across the valley. You can see purple-faced langur monkeys, peacocks and endless other tropical birds whilst enjoying breakfast. Next time I'll bring binoculars! We opted for Sri Lankan breakfast which was extremely generous, delicious and different every day - hoppers, kiribath, roti, string hoppers... Yum, yum, yum! The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all the facilities to self cater if you want - fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, gas hob... The bed was comfortable and had a very good mosquito net. We slept very well and woke up to that amazing view! Although a little back from the beach it was a really nice 15-minute walk or it was easy to order a tuk tuk on Pick Me. There's also a lovely yoga shala about a 10-minute walk further inland. If you're warm after walking back you can cook off in the pool!

“Just paradise!!!”

This place feels like coming home. It is the 4rd time i stay here. Nila and Manil are the best hosts. Always ready to help you. The rooms are beautiful and big. You have your own kitchenette and fridge and a beautiful big terrace. In the morning you wake up with the sound of the birds and monkeys. Ideally placed a little bit inland so no noise of traffic.

Hosts helpful and friendly. Owners dogs were lovely. Nice views from top floor apartment. Quiet and peaceful. Can watch monkeys, peacocks and birds from balcony. Spacious accommodation.

We had the greatest experience in villa jungle paradise! The owners are such great hosts, very kind and generous, always available to make our stay feel like home. Its a wonderful and enriching experience to stay with a local family that can make you feel closer to sri kankan way of life and culture. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we had the most amazing view over the forest. Its a peaceful place, surrounded with the sounds of birds. Although its not super close to the beach, the tuk tuk drive was a great way to start and finish the day, with such wonderful landscapes and the wind over our faces. We will return for sure! Already missing mila and manuel!

“Totally worth it! Huge terrace, swimming pool, little jungle paradise.”

I mean... just wow, what an incredible experience! I can honestly say I felt right at home during my long-term stay in Sri Lanka, all thanks to this place. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, treating me like part of the family throughout my stay. If there is any challenge just talk with them, for sure they will help you sort it out. They have two friendly dogs who add to the sense of security, making you feel safe at all times. Inside the apartment, both a fan and AC are provided, though I found the fan to be more than enough during my stay. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a handy electric oven that proved to be quite useful. However, the highlight of this place has to be the huge terrace, offering breathtaking views that you can enjoy all the time. Moreover, there's a swimming pool where you can cool down whenever you need, making it feel like a little paradise. Nestled in the jungle yet close to the ocean, it was the perfect base for me to explore Sri Lanka. Overall, I totally recommend this place! Whether you're looking for a cozy retreat or a base to explore the area, this property has it all. Hopefully I will be back
