The property is lovely and in a perfect location. Quiet yet still close to the main stretch and beach areas. What makes it extremely special is Buddika. He is an incredible host and so friendly and helpful with anything you could need during your stay. If we are ever back in Unawatuna we would love to return here! Villa58 offers a very good location with everything nearby (beach, restaurants, and bars), but at the same time, it is a bit on the side of the main street, which makes it a nice and quiet place to stay. The hosts are very kind, and helpful people. Every day, we were supplied with enough bottled drinking water, all common areas were cleaned every day, and rooms were cleaned every couple of days. The cleaning was high-quality. On day 2, we received some exotic fruits as a welcome gesture, which was very lovely. The Deluxe Apartment has its own kitchen with everything that you might need, a good Wi-Fi connection, a washing machine, and a rooftop. The swimming pool is not big but is nice and clean. If you’re willing to visit Unawatuna, I would 100% recommend staying at Villa58.

That is friendly and nice place to stay in Unawatuna. Everything is close (meaning main street, beach, shops, restaurants/food, bus stop etc) at the same time hotel is hidden from street noises so you're living in quiet place and can hear peacocks and see monkeys early morning. Room was very clean and equipped with everything you might need, kitchen is outside the room (we stayed in apartments, second floor) and also has everything for comfort cooking. Pictures when booking are completely real and fits, wifi works very fast and stable.

Lovely host, very clean and comfortable room.

Everything was great from earlier Check-in to our check out. From Villa you can go by foot to mání Unawatuna beach. Shops and restaurants are on every Corner arround. Beds were very comfortable. And owner is very kind - Help us with everything what we need (with renting tuk tuk, oné evening take me to the shop).

This is one of the best stops on the entire trip. The apartments are located away from the main road which avoids noise. The balcony has a view of the cliffs. The apartment itself is very clean and nice. There is a kitchen with everything you need for cooking.

Excellent gesthouse with a convenient location in a quiet lane, bike rentals and massages nearby. Beach 10 minutes away, main street has all the coffee shops. Special thanks to the wonderful host who was very attentive and helpful in everything and even took us to the gala on his tuk-tuk for free. The room has everything and more, air conditioning, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, always clean drinking water. In the common areas of the gesthouse spacious kitchen, refrigerator, dryers for laundry and washing machine with powder. I advise everyone who wants to spend their vacation pleasantly.

I liked everything very much! An ideal apartment for living, the room has everything you need, the air conditioner and fan work perfectly, the beds are magnificent, the plumbing is all in the best order. One room had a balcony where you can sit in the evening admiring the jungle. The kitchen is beyond praise, there is everything you need down to the smallest detail for cooking. We baked pancakes, and various scrambled eggs, and made fish and seafood, a large refrigerator with a freezer, the room has a small one for soft drinks, a microwave, excellent internet! But most importantly, the very hospitable owner of Buddika, it’s as if you came to visit him, he is unobtrusive, but will always give you advice, speaks excellent English, took us to the fish and fruit market in Galle, this is not the responsibility of the host, do not abuse it! We will definitely come back again! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Excellent apartment, fully matching the photos. Very clean, the owner cleaned every three days with the replacement of towels and bedding. As a compliment, the owner treated them to bananas. At our request, he took us to the fish market and the supermarket. He also took us to the beach with turtles in Dalawella. The kitchen has a full set of dishes and utensils. We rested like close relatives.

“Everything you need for a comfortable stay!”

The location is super - you seem to be in the very tourist center, but at the same time you are far enough away from the main street - so no one will disturb your sleep. There are almost no insects. Behind the house there is a rock with a jungle, monkeys and birds. There is absolutely everything for a comfortable stay. Household appliances, outdoor grill, dishes, towels, adapters, even sugar, cream, tea and repellent. In general, you don’t need to take care of anything extra. Excellent satellite Internet, which does not turn off if the power suddenly goes out. If you work and use the Internet, then no problems or interruptions will arise. The owner of the house is always ready to help. Can take you to a store or to another beach (there is a tuk-tuk). Entrance to the house is always under the supervision of either the owner himself or his family - absolutely safe! Access to the beach is a 5-minute walk through the Lucky Tuna / Tortuga cafe. Nearby are currency exchangers (the rate is even better than at the airport), a ruble exchanger (Tinkoff/Sber), a cryptocurrency exchanger, a grocery store, fruit, ice cream.

We stayed at the property for more than a month and with a hand on my heart I can tell you that this is the best apartment for price and quality. The room is new, very cosy and clean with everything you need in your everyday life. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the staff that you need to cook. There is even toaster for sandwiches, rice-cooker and washing machine. There is air-conditioner and fan. There were no problems with the hot water. The location is very nice too – no more than 5 minutes walk from one of the best beaches in Sri-Lanka. It was very quiet and calm in the neibourhood. The owner of the property Buddika is very friendly and responsive who is always ready to help you with any question. On the last day Buddika and his family made a delicious dinner for us. I highly recommend this apartment! This is a real gem in Unawatuna!

Neat and clean room with all amenities. The owner is really caring and an amazing person. He will help you with every small thing and make sure your stay is amazing. For instance: We faced some network issue with TV. He immediately sorted it and subscribed to the cricket channel for us to watch match. The small things show lot of intent and goes a long way.
