“Lovely jungle stay”

Very nice place to stay in Unawatuna. Room was spacious, clean and had a very nice shower. There also is a little kitchen area with a Fridge that people could use. It is located among trees so you can see monkeys and cute birds and squirrels up close. There is a short walking distance to the shops, restaurants and beach.

Everything was perfect, highly recommend this place, I would definitely come again!

“Good place to stay in Unawatuna”

Really nice and clean place. Not far from restaurants, shops and the beach but in a calm area without any noise at night. Shower with strong water flow. Laundry is possible for 800 LKR per kilo. I stayed there for 6 nights and it was one of my best accommodations in Sri Lanka.

Very simple but charming. Calm and relaxing, although in the heart of Unawatuna, 5 min. walk from the beach, restaurants and shops.

Nice hotel at the end of a quiet side road. Many animals to see: monkeys, lizards, birds. Owner is a chill & uncomplicated dude.

Great location just five minutes from the beach and main restaurant area. Spacious and clean room, lovely host 😊

Great location as it is in walking distance to beach, relaxing surroundings, and spacious room. Value for money and the host was very helpful.

Large bed, nice vibe with terrace breakfast, sometimes can see animals. Walkable distance to the beach. Breakfast was diverse but small and not to everybody’s taste.

The location was really nice, it was surrounded by jungle/trees so there was a lot of wildlife around. The owner is great, taking care of our needs and the breakfast is delicious it changed each day which we liked. The room was spacious and the outside area is a nice place to relax.

We were there for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay! Host was very friendly and made a very nice breakfast with different fresh juice every morning. Room is spacious and clean with good shower and aircon as well. Lovely view of the forest and perfect location near shops and beach!

The room is quite big, very well located while quiet at the same time, just next to the forest so you can spot some monkeys if lucky... five min walking to the beach and plenty of restaurants around. Thilak is a great host that is willing to help at all times. Definitely recommended.

“Great host and excellent location”

The breakfast was great. I had western and Sri Lankan breakfast. The fresh juice was a nice change. The family has a tuk tuk so they can take you to galle. The wife is an excellent cook and gave me an excellent evening meal

The room is big,There is a queen sized canopy bed,terrace with 2 armchairs from where you can see the forest and listen to birds chirping.The breakfast is wonderful and they change it every day.

“Jungle stop nearby the beach”

The backpackers lodge is just nearby the jungle. Get up early in the morning to see the monkeys swing by or the water monitor take his daily walk. Moreover, you get to enjoy a breakfast at your stay and the room is very spacious.

We loved our stay. The owners were very friendly and attentive. We extended our stay and they agreed a slight discount. They also washed our clothes for free as we were long-term guests. The guesthouse is positioned right next to jungle so has fantastic views of the wildlife - monkeys, lizards, birds and more.

We enjoyed our stay here alot. Even tho it was really spontaneous, the friendly guy was super helping and carring. The house is directly in the center but in one of the side roads so its not to loud in the night. To the beach its less then 5 min by walk.

Very well situated little homestay, in a quiet road, in only short walking distance to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Kind hosts! Basic room (some little details would make it more cozy), but spacious and clean. Shower with warm water.

Very relaxing room, close to everything but still away from the shops and restaurants noise. I highly recommend! The host was also very caring and made very nice breakfast.
