“Excellent”
We had a wonderful week at this lovely hotel. Try and book villa C1 if you can, it's right by the sea with a lovely terrace where you can request to have your breakfast/dinner. It's not located actually on a sandy beach but Turtle beach is less than a minutes walk away , and yes you can swim with the turtles here, but try and do this first thing in the morning and not at the weekend - far too many people, which can't be good for the turtles! The food here is absolutely fantastic, the chef really knows what he's doing in that kitchen! All the staff are wonderful with special mention for manager Asanka, nothing was too much trouble. Also Dinuka and Ranjit were super friendly and great catering for our every need. It would be hard to find a more welcoming hotel along this stretch of beach. Would definitely stay again.

“The perfect end to our Sri Lankan trip”
The beach cabana was the perfect place to end our holiday in Sri Lanka. The hotel setting is absolutely beautiful and the pool and garden was great for chilling after a day at the beach or exploring. You’re right on the beach with just a short walk over the rocks to the sandy part and the turtles. It was also a great location for being able to get to other areas easily in a tuk tuk or Uber (Galle, Unatawuna, Ahangama etc.). All the staff were really friendly and looked after us well during our stay.

The location on the beach was amazing, I swam with turtles every day! The staff were amazing and looked after me as a solo traveller, I would stay again.

The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful The location was lovely with the calm bay close by and the turtles. Walkable to the main beach area of Unawatuna Staff could make happen any visit to any area from here and would take care of that for you Relaxing and quiet

Beach front and gardens are nice and well kept, close to turtle beach so you can get there before the crowds - many of the staff were very helpful and kind.

“Lovely for couples, especially if you have done a busy tour before”
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. You are 200m from where you can feed the giant turtles in the sea, and maybe 400m from Frog Rock. Gardens are lovely and calm, but if you want something more lively, you are £1.25 tuk-tuk ride from Unawatuna beach and town, and £4 to Galle

“A little gem”
A small friendly hotel with beautiful gardens overlooking the ocean. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Already looking at going back again next year.
