A lovely family run place away from the hustle and bustle of the busy Unawatuna streets. Ramya, her husband Kumara, and their dog Rosie warmly welcomed us to their place and made us feel right at home. We were greeted every morning with tea and biscuits and had access to a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge/freezer.

Pretty clean place. Was a shared kitchen to make a meal or tea.

I stayed in the villa for one night on a stop over at Unawatuna beach. I arrived early and was greeted by the lovely family that own the Villa. The room was really clean with fresh linen and towels with a four poster style bed with a mosquito net. The room has no Aircon but goes have a ceiling fan which I found to be sufficient to keep the room cool . I can honestly say I had a really goodnight sleep on the very comfortable mattress with no outside noise except for a bird in the garden at 6am The bathroom has a new electric water heater and a new modern toilet and sink. WIFI is proved and you do get a good strong signal. Outside on the veranda are 2 comfortable chairs if you want to sit amongst the beautiful green plants in the garden. Breakfast wasn’t provided but there are a number of small shops and cafes close by which provide meals at a reasonable price.
