The place was fine for a budget stay. It is very hot in Sri Lanka right now and the fan in the room didn’t suffice so i left a night earlier than planned. Just note before booking that it is very warm :) The location is good. A short walk to the beach.

Had a great stay at Pradeepa house! The location was great, so close to the beach and about a 10 min walk to the main street in Unawatuna. The room and bathroom were a perfect size and great value for money.

“Peace of mind!”
Waking up in this beautiful garden, full of small animals, wispering and colourfull birds. Would have stayed a few days more if I would had the time. Tip: wake up with first light and enjoy the different songs of the birds!

Beautiful garden with lots of birds and some cute little animals which I sadly dont know the name. The room is simple but clean enough and quite well equipped. Owner is a very kind woman.

The room was tiny, but we had everything we needed. Bedsheet was fresh and the bed very comfy. The garden is beautiful and it is very quier.

10 out of 10 points in all categories! Simple, clean room in Pradeepa's and her mother's house! There is no more authentic way to get to know the country! Pradeepa is very friendly, helpful and caring! Just fabulous! It is only a few meters to the very beautiful beach, and shops and restaurants are nearby. Please support the hostess and book here instead of in a large hotel!

Nice hidden homestay close to everything in Unawatuna. We loved our stay there, we had everything we needed. If we go back to Unawatuna we would definitely stay there again.
