“Quiet lovely place with a cool pool and very nice hosts”

Incredible breakfasts with local food and a lot of fruits. We had the rest of breakfast for lunch and even dinner sometimes The villa located 6 min to the sea - across the railway and road, but it's almost in the forest. Animals and birds came to the yard - including monkeys and peacocks - absolutely incredible experience. Monkeys were not aggressive - but very nice. Hosts have a kind of small feeder for squirrels and monkeys The turtle beach is walking distance. The best sunsets are there The beach cafes with best views - also walking distance Pool with jacuzzi is the best option for the midday rest with huge plate of fruits from the breakfast Very very clean rooms with everything you need

The interior was very nice and comfy. Everything was clean and our Host was very polite and always willing to help. We have been served with a lot of different local food and if we wanted to change something, everything was done without any hesitation. If we come back to Sri Lanka , we would love to stay a few more days. We can 100% recommend the stay in this villa! 5 of 5 stars.

“A private oasis”

Aravinda made us feel very welcome. The villa was great, the breakfast exceptional and the pool was divine after a long hot day out and about. We had visiting monkeys and tonnes of beautiful birds. It was a little oasis away from the busy outside. Its a 2min walk to the main road and a suite of options for swimming with the very popular turtle beach the closest. Not my favourite beach, lots of tourists and Unawatuna even busier. Walk to the right of the turtle beach and you will find some nicer beach swiming heading towatds the Radisson resort. Had lovely dinner at Drift across from Percy's. Loved thst we were tucked away at Percy's but could get a tuk tuk or local bus to other beaches villages very easily.

“A peaceful and welcoming stay in a perfect location”

We had a wonderful stay at Percy Residence with our family. The location was perfect—tucked away in a quiet spot but still just a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. Each morning, we were treated to an incredibly tasty and generous breakfast, with a variety of local selections that gave us a real taste of the area. The hosts are a beautiful family—warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. They helped us organise transport and went out of their way to pump up our kids’ soccer ball and include is for a baby turtle experience! The garden was a highlight for our children, offering space to play and watch the animals, while we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable, and having access to washing facilities and kitchen was a huge bonus during our trip. Percy Residence is the perfect space for a family stay. We highly recommend it and would absolutely stay again if we’re back in the area.

“Idyllic with a paradise garden”

We absolutely loved everything about our 3 day stay here. House was tranquil with fans and AC. Very clean and very relaxing. The garden is like paradise in itself. We spent Christmas Day in the garden being entertained by the monkeys, squirrels, so many different birds. It was magical. Beach a 7 min walk away. Breakfast was a banquet, different on both days. Percy, Aravinda and family are superb hosts. Nothing was to much trouble. 100% recommend Percy residence - we would definitely come back.

“Paradise Found: A Hidden Gem at Percy Residence”

Percy Residence truly amazed us. The photos don’t capture the charm of this place. The apartment features a beautiful, spacious living room, two comfortable bedrooms, and a well-equipped kitchen. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the beds are so cozy it was hard to leave them in the morning. The garden area is perfect for relaxation, surrounded by lush greenery. Numerous birds and squirrels visit the space, and several times, monkeys perched on the palm trees right above our heads. In the evenings, fireflies create a magical atmosphere. The residence offers complete privacy, yet the incredibly caring hosts are just next door. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to the smallest details—even in the interior design—are extraordinary. We also enjoyed not only the most delicious but also the most beautifully prepared breakfasts here. At night, it’s very quiet, and the location is just a few steps from a wonderful beach where we swam with turtles daily. The area has plenty of small shops and dining spots, and the kitchen in the apartment offered fantastic opportunities for self-cooking, which we took full advantage of. We regretted that our stay lasted only a few days.

Many thanks for your hospitality and especially we want to express our gratitude to Aravinda. He organized wonderful gift for my friend's birthday and his service overcomed our expectations. Also I must say everything was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our trip a lot. Unawatuna one of the best spots in the world.

If you want to plunge into the life of the Lankans, feel their life, enjoy great food, then this is where you are. These are not just landlords, these are people who take you into the family, live with your problems and your emotions. They will always help, prompt, find a tuk-tuk and medicines, buy shrimp and cook a wonderful dinner. And even the strange inhabitants came to visit us, then to have breakfast with us (palm squirrels, parrots), then to laugh at us - local monkeys.

We loved absolutely everything! That was the best accommodation ever! Delicious huge breakfasts, sparkling clean house and garden. The hosts were the most hospitable people I’ve ever met!

“Great experience!”

The breakfast offered was super delicious - fresh fruit, local food and tea. The host was very helpful and kind. He also helped us to arrange the taxi from the airport. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable. We needed to work during our stay, so we had plenty of room for both of us to make our work calls and focus. We really liked the interior of the house as well with its interesting details and furniture. The location is some meters from the main road which means that there was no noise!
