Wonderful, wonderful experience - with the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the ambience, the open spaces, the facilities, the kitchen. I cannot not recommend this enough. One of the best stay experiences I have had. Plus: The main staff (I did not catch his name) is extremely sweet and helpful. He gave detailed answers to each of my queries, and helped make the accommodation feel homely, welcoming and safe.

The location of the hostel is great, and I appreciated the spacious room and the terrace nearby. I made great friends there - that was the best part.

Hotel has a really good location, in the end of the main shopping streets and also in the beginning of the trail to the Jungle beach. Unawatuna beach is just a few minutes walk. Also very nice cafes and small shops around. It was nice to walk around as solo female in the evening as the streets around are really safe (basically tourist streets). The villa was very beautiful and roomy, the dorm room was one of the best I have been to. Dorm has toilet, but shower is outside in a separate house. Staff was friendly and professional.

A lot of space in a dormitory with a beautiful lounge area upstairs. Great value for money.

I booked a female 3 bed dormitory but was instead accommodated into a huge 7-8 bed mixed dorm so it was deceiving to what they presented on booking

Only reason this isn't a 10, is because I didn't spend the night here. I booked a dorm room so I had somewhere near the beach to hang out, shower and leave my bags before I left in the evening for the airport. The common area is large and open, all shaded so a nice place if it gets too hot, minutes from the beach and the shared bathroom was large and very clean.

“Lovely terrace and garden, hardworking staff”

First of all, I have to say a huge thank you to Marik for driving all the way out to Galle to collect the sum for my stay after there was a bit of a misunderstanding due to a language barrier (I can't speak Russian). The guesthouse is well located; close to restaurants, the beach, etc. There's a lovely terrace upstairs, a beautiful garden outside and a very well-equipped kitchen which was great. The WiFi was also very strong.

“Best hostel in Unawatuna at the best price”

Love the property! I just love it. It’s very spacious, clean, safe for a solo traveller and beautifully built. I loved my evenings spent on the patio. The hostel is close to everything and beach is 2 mins walk from the property. Hosts were hospitable. I was skeptical about taking this place since other reviews said the washroom is out. But, I found it’s best to keep the bathrooms out and that way the rooms will be much cleaner. Ofcourse there are toilets in every dorms, so it’s not at all an issue. Both the toilets and washrooms was very clean. Thanks for making my travel a memorable one.

The building is really nice. The dorm is huge and airy. My bed (middle one of bunk) was comfortable. Fan, reading light and plague on each bed. Two toilets in the room and a corner with cups, dishes, cutlery and a sink. Wonderful large terrasse with benches, armchairs, tables and numerous plagues: this area is just worthed the staying! On ground-floor clean kitchen well furnished with refrigerator and drinking water and other places where to consume meals and enjoy this place. Staff never sow that much.

Very nice place and friendly owners. Eco-style hostel. There is a kitchen that you can use. Large outdoor veranda for relaxing. There is a restaurant and a shop next door. Good location: beach, tourist street, fruit and other shops - everything is nearby!
