Masith Guest house was in beautiful location with jungle view, very close to Mihiripenna beach where you can see turtles!

“Wonderful Guesthouse with friendly staff”
Very nice accommodation. Two beaches, as well as a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would come back and can definitely recommend it.

The balcony was great for somewhere to relax outside the room. The room was large (but basic with no table or cupboard). The owner, Jay, was very friendly and cooked us a great fish meal

I liked the family atmosphere of the hotel, the practical furnishings of the room. I got an excellent breakfast and Masith is always polite, willing and cheerful. The best beach in the city is 5 minutes away on foot.

“See Monkeys in Mihiripenna”
The main reason we booked this property was to be close to Dalawella beach; for that reason it's a great location! The room itself was quite small with a large bed, and it came with a huge private balcony as well as access to a communal kitchen and balcony area...the surrounding areas are teaming with wildlife, and we particularly loved watching the Black Monkeys go about their business! On the upper level, three rooms have access to a small but clean shared bathroom. Jay is a great host too, he clearly cares very much about his guests and loves it when the guests are socialising, he just wants to be involved and for everyone to have a good time! He even helped us prepare our food one night when we decided to cook!
