“Private Beach Haven”

This guest house is in a great location with its own private beach & direct beach access from your room. A great respite from the crowds along the main beach but a very easy walk to the restaurants & cafes. There are other beaches on either side as well. Also close to a bus stop, which is convenient for getting to Galle or other beaches - & the buses are easy to use. Breakfast was really good too, Sameera does a great job with fresh fruit, toast & a cooked meal, along with fresh juice, which was delicious! Very comfortable bed & a great (good pressure), hot shower. Sameera also arranged our transfer to the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location right on the beach, breakfast was fabulous and included (and served with a great view of the sea). Room (budget) had a very good mosquito net and air conditioning worked well. The house felt secure. Owner and his wife were very friendly. We could leave our luggage to collect later.

We stayed six nights at this hotel, and we're glad we did. The room was simple but nice and very clean. We had direct access to the hotel's own private beach area with the sea right below. Sunbeds with mattresses belong to the room, extremely appreciated. It is a short tuktuk ride or walk away from the main beach, which was exactly what we wanted. Sameera, who owns the hotel, cares a lot about his guests, is extremely responsive and helpful, and is very keen that you feel comfortable. And we really did. The breakfast is amazing. He asked us upon our arrival what we liked to eat, and he really nailed it. If we come back to Sri Lanka and Unawatuna we will book this hotel again.

“Great place to stay”

The owner was super nice and accommodating. Lovely rooms, clean, comfy beds, great AC, great shower. The setting is epic straight o to the beach and is a short distance from the main Unawatuna beach and also turtle beach and a few.other beaches.

Sameera provided us with a superb breakfast and was solicitous for our welfare. We had a beach with sea that was possible to swim in on our doorstep. It was a great place to relax. In a world where many tourist hotels are big and impersonal, this guest house was pleasantly small-scale and personal.

The owner went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Beautiful place, relaxing and away from the hustle. Equally on 15 mins from the main town centre and a short ride or drive if you didn’t want to walk. I’d 100% stay again.

Right on the beach with only a few steps from our room into the ocean. Comfortable bed with mozzie net and very good shower. Located away from the busy hotel strip in a sheltered almost private beach area, yet easy walk along the beach to the nightlife. Samira went out of his way to ensure our stay be good. He works very hard at the property to make sure it is clean and tidy. Samira made us fabulous breakfasts every day. From hoppers, pancakes, delicious fruit and juices. Every day we had the opportunity to try another Sri Lankan morsel. Thank you for all the help you gave us while we were there, you made our stay memorable.

The location, and being totally beach front

The location is fabulous and the host was so polite and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect, right next to a bus stop and a short walk to the main beach. The private beach is lovely too and you can watch a beautiful sunset there. Breakfast was really good with a view of the beach.

The location is great, you literally walk out of the room to the beach. Bus stop is near and you can have a 20 min walk to the centre. The breakfast is probably the best we had in the whole trip. Host is also very nice and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Every morning we had a nice breakfast with the perfect seaview, definetly one of our highlights here in sri lanka! Sameera was always supportive and friendly. Thank you!
