One of the best places I’ve ever stayed! The property is set in a beautiful and peaceful spot right in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by trees, birds, squirrels, and peacocks. It feels like a little paradise, yet it’s only a 10-minute walk from Jungle Beach and the beautiful Pagoda. The room was huge, with a big, comfortable bed and an extra one as well. It had air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a wardrobe, a hairdryer, a safe, a yoga mat, a full-length mirror, and a lovely terrace—everything you could need. They welcomed us with a delicious fresh juice. We had dinner there (baked fish with rice and curry), and it was probably the best meal we had in Sri Lanka! Breakfast was included and delicious, with fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs, tea and coffee. The owner and all the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and made us feel truly at home. The best place to enjoy Unawatuna!

“Great location away from noise”

Top of the Rumassala hill with a short walk to Unawatuna one way and Jungle Beach the other. Large comfy room with fridge and balcony. Set in the jungle so very peaceful. Staff were friendly and an excellent breakfast. They also helped arrange a tuk tuk so we could visit Galle.

The accommodation is located in a quiet area, about 1 km from the beach. The host family was very kind, and their children showed us around their garden. Everything was fine with the room: there was a beautiful view of the jungle from the window, the air conditioning and the fridge worked well, the bed linens and towels were clean, and the bathroom was also clean. The bed was comfortable, and we were able to wash our clothes as well. The full-length mirror is a big plus 🙂 There is a kitchen that guests can use. It’s worth allowing extra time for breakfast—we received ours with a slight delay. Upon departure, the host offered us a ride.

“Place for nature lovers”

This was the best stay of our trip. Kind and welcoming hosts, clean and comfortable living conditions, and traditional food prepared according to your wishes. Surrounded by greenery, with no street noise or vehicle fumes. The rooms matched the description and photos. An invaluable bonus was that our and the host’s daughters became friends and spent time together.

Lovely place a little bit of the path...tranquility but only a walk of 5min into the tourist center. I also have to point out the family, who provided me with everything I needed (incl transport).

We spent an unforgettable 9 days in this wonderful villa, which will forever remain in our memory as a very happy time. Territory. The villa has a beautiful well-maintained territory, a green garden with many beautiful flowers and animals. During breakfast, we watched chipmunks and peacocks. Sometimes monkeys pass by, but they won't bother you at all, just delight you from a distance. Location. The villa is located on a hill in the middle between Unawatuna and Jungle Beach. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down the hill to the main tourist street and Unawatuna Beach, where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and wildlife. Jungle Beach, with its soft sand, is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel and is more secluded than Unawatuna Beach. I consider the location of the villa to be the best in Unawatuna, as all the tourist attractions are easily accessible on foot, and you won't be disturbed by the noise of restaurants and shops. If you require transportation, the villa owner, Dinesh, can arrange a tuk-tuk for you, or you can rent a motorcycle from the owner. Dinesh met us at the airport and accompanied us when we returned home. The room. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The room had a comfortable bed, the air conditioning and ceiling fan worked well, there was always hot water, and the bathroom was very large and had good modern plumbing. We also had a kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils and a refrigerator. Meals. There was a cafe on the property where the owner of the villa and his family prepared our breakfasts. The breakfasts were delicious, varied, and hearty, with plenty of fresh fruit and handmade tea (which we took home with us). The cafe also served lunches and dinners, where you could order gourmet Sri Lankan dishes or purchase seafood that the hosts would prepare to your liking. We purchased shrimp and fish, and they created unforgettable dishes with the perfect blend of spices.

Dinesh very nice person, very helpful and open. He help us with baggage, transport and even pils when we feel sick. The place is very beautiful. Close to two beaches by scooter (can be rent here)

“Quite cozy place”

Very nice and clean room. You can use shared kitchen or ask owner for the breakfast. Very friendly staff. Quite location in the hills (better to have scooter to move around).

Really nice homestay just outside the Unawatuna beach strip. Lots of wildlife around and about 10/15 mins walk from jungle beach. Dinesh was a great host and really enjoyed his breakfasts each morning while watching the birds feasting in the surrounding fruit trees.

If you've ever wanted to go to Sri Lanka, go now! Super nice and helpful people, no crowds even on the most tourist trails and attractions, kindness and smile at every step. Unawatuna Center Point Villa is, above all, perfectly located. It is located practically in the jungle, on the way to the beautiful Jungle Beach, and there are two top-rated restaurants in Unawatuna within walking distance :) The facility is well-kept and clean, and the family that runs it is very nice. We spent a wonderful few days there with my wife and daughter.
