I didn't stay in Galle, but chose to stay in Unawatuna. I was almost hesitant to book this place due to its distance from the beach and the low price, which would have been a real shame. First of all, the hotel is excellent, with relatively new facilities, clean bathrooms and beds, and powerful air conditioning. The only thing is that it's about 500 meters off the main road, but fortunately, the pickup driver knew the way. The kitchen and utensils are available for use and are quite functional. You can walk to the beach, and along the way, I discovered the train station, realizing how close it actually is. It was a pleasant surprise to find that I didn't need to go to Galle station to catch a train; I could simply walk here and take the train to other parts of Sri Lanka.I extended stay two more days

“Perfect value for money”
I really like this place and am always happy to come back. The hosts are very responsive and have good English. They’re honest and helpful, the room is always very clean. There’s also a shared kitchen (also very clean) which is a big advantage. The location is great, and the quality-price ratio really good - which is not so often in Sri Lanka anymore. I’ll be back! :)

“Good and comfortable stay.”
We r couples from India and we're on vacations. It was a cool stay. We got the entire house with a roof top. It was one bedroom with washroom, kitchen with all basic amenities available like refrigerator, cooking gas, crockery, toaster, dining table, chairs etc.. It is 3 km from Jungle beach and turtle beach which r very nice attractions to spend leisure time . I recommend taking the entire house for a nice family stay. It is real value for money. I would visit it again. Thanks

“Great stay in calm area, perfect for someone who wants to explore the area by scooters.”
Very nice and comfortable room in a quiet area far from the city centre. We rented a scooter so a distance wasn’t a problem at all. We appreciated access to the kitchen and basic equipment. The host was very kind and helpful with the questions and overall management of the stay.

“Exceeded my expectations”
This place is clean, neat, quiet, comfortable and budget friendly. I just wanted the A/C room. But additionally, this place has hot water shower, free WiFi, and a shared kitchen. This place exceeded my expectations for the budget. I will visit this place again.

“Lovely host and great property”
Great clean room with A/C and good bathroom. The host was lovely and went out of her way to make us comfortable and welcome. Location was close to the train station however is a 5 min drive/25 min walk from the centre.

“Quiet, house away from the main tourist street”
The house was lovely. Having access to a kitchen was great. Very clean. Shower was good. Beach towels as well as bathroom towels was a nice touch.
