Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet. “Would stay again”
Overall great value, room was spacious, bathroom nice and clean, beds were nice, reception staff was helpful, breakfast was good and the food in the evening too. Very practical not to have to find a restaurant in the evening, and if one wanted to get out the location is perfect, only maybe 10 mins walk to the central station.

“Very pleasant stay.”
In a good location near the river, very quiet. It was good to be in a room that had a window that could be opened. Very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were good, although the food could have been hotter, it was lukewarm.

“An excellent choice in Umea if you like a hotel with character.”
This place is a real home from home with very welcoming staff. It is an attractive hotel, the front part being a historic building and there are photos around the hotel to explain the history. There is a free buffet dinner included in the price as well as an excellent breakfast. And waffles mid-afternoon! They also did a bag of laundry for us, useful since we were on a long trip. The hotel is situated near the river and the town hall, an easy 15 minutes from the station. Our room was a good size with all we needed.

“A friendly comfortable and quality place to stay.”
We like to stay in places that are very comfortable - like our home. Being in a foreign city we appreciated that all the meals were included and the quality of the food was very good - saved us looking for ages for somewhere to eat as we are not the most decisive people! Your staff were very friendly and 'can do' people. It makes such a difference.

“Great price-value ratio!”
