Overview
La Casa del Falegname is an intimate property in the village of Niccone, less than a 10-minute drive from Umbertide. “Wonderful. Such a welcoming, well equipped and pleasant place to stay.”
Valerio and Daniela met us and showed us round. The were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had everything in the house we needed for self catering - but also enjoyed Nona Gelsa restaurant round the corner a couple of nights.

“Great facilities and generous hosts”
The rooms (mini apartment) were very clean and the fridge and pantry stocked with breakfast items. The owners were very kind indeed and kept feeding me with little treats they had made! The area was very beautiful, if remote. You would ideally have a car to get round to see the countryside. As I had none, my hosts were very generous in that they offered to take me to Umbertide every day and even offered to load me a bicycle! This is definitely one of the best places I have stayed! :)
