Overview
The Poggiomanente is set in an ancient windmill surrounded by a beautiful garden, with swimming pool and views on the Umbrian hills. It offers large, air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV, and an on-site restaurant. Country Hotel Poggiomanente is located on the SS219 national road between Umbertide and Gubbio. It offers free parking. The Poggiomanente Restaurant serves some of the best dishes of the Umbrian tradition and is one of the area's most appreciated. It is set in a cellar of the 16th century and also has a dining veranda with views of the garden.

Large room in a lovely setting. Nice pool and plenty of places to lounge. Nicely landscaped. Beautiful areas to sit. Great restaurant, it was nice to have a night at the property with good local produce and wines. Helpful staff. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

It so authentic both the room and the hotel. The garden is amazing, the whole experience feels a bit like traveling back in time. The restaurant is also good. The pool are as really relaxing.

“Nice hotel for drivers”
The room was a good size and clean - had everything we needed including towels etc. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was very good. Overall good value for money.

“Good hotel with some wonderful staff. Need to sort out the half board.”
The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The bath was a nice surprise. The communal area was comfortable and welcoming. I was able to put my bike under shelter and Antonio even jet washed the mud off my bike, which was a wonderful thing to do! The weather wasn’t great so am not able to comment on the external area. The food in the restaurant was very good, although I think the restaurant may be a different business (see below).

Lovely hotel situated within easy reach of sightseeing for areas like Gubbio and Umbertide and only about an hours drive for further areas such as Orvieto, Spoleto and Lake Tresimeno.

Nice place . Great swimming pool with plenty chairs, outdoor shower and a shallow and deep part. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast. Good comfortable bed. Close to the highway. So handy for overnight stays.
