This luxurious cliff-edge resort is set 150 metres above the Indian Ocean, affording stunning views of surrounding landscapes. Offering personalised service, The Ungasan Clifftop Resort features a private beachfront, fitness facilities and a day spa. Guests enjoy special access to Sundays Beach Club and return airport transfer. Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen cable TV and iPod dock are standard in all units. Fully furnished villas have a designer kitchen, rain showers and ample indoor/outdoor lounge areas. The Ungasan Clifftop Resort is within a short drive of the beautiful Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple. It is a 40-minute drive from Kuta and 25 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Guests can lounge by the cliff-edge infinity pool or have a game of tennis at the lawn and hard courts. Everything, and I mean everything was amazing. The hotel is designed as individual small houses with or w/t plunge pool and 5 such houses form a “villa”. Each villa has its own communal pool(shared by 5 rooms), dining room (where your villa butler can serve you dinner or you can have it in the room), movie room and a working room. There is also a pool by hotel restaurant. We stayed in a room with a plunge pool and ocean view, which was just spectacular. We often enjoyed the extensive breakfast at the villas’ gazebo (communal) and then went to Sundays beach club, where hotel guests have complimentary sunbeds (booked via villa butler). The rooms are great, the view is incredible (hotel is on a cliff, as the name implies), the service is outstanding. There is a spa at the hotel but massages can also be taken on the beach too. The beach is accessible by complimentary cable car or by stairs(for the sporty ones:)). If you want to be spoiled and be on Bali, this is the obvious choice.

“The best weekend!!”
The most special weekend for our honeymoon. We got upgraded to an ocean view villa. There was hardly anyone staying in the surrounding villas and we had the shared pool area all to ourselves both days we were there. The view was breath taking and villas were so comfortable. The staff were amazing and nothing was too hard that we requested help with. Also breakfast was delicious! We loved every moment here.

“A great place. Worth every cent”
The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. I got sick with Bali Belly and they were able to arrange for a Dr to come with an IV and other medications, very quickly at about 1am in the morning. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble.

Breathtaking views over the Indian ocean. Friendly and efficient staff. Good food. Gardens to die for Attentive butler service for 5 rooms centered around own large pool, dining, lounges and bar (in addition to the same main public areas). Hands-on management. Completely peaceful retreat.

We recently spent an unforgettable 7 days at CHINTAMANI Villas, part of The Ungasan Clifftop Resort. From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in a serene escape, enjoying the luxury of our private clifftop pool and the breathtaking surroundings. We came seeking relaxation and rejuvenation, and this resort delivered on every level. Although there are five villas on the property, during our stay, it felt as if we had the entire place to ourselves. Despite every villa being fully booked, the sense of privacy and tranquility was remarkable. The staff truly elevated our experience, with Hari and Eka, our butlers, providing exceptional service, and Putu, the manager and mixologist at Waatu Restaurant, impressing us with his expertise. CHINTAMANI Villas has now become our go-to destination for unwinding. The culinary offerings, whether at the villa, the resort's restaurants, or the beach club, were consistently outstanding. Initially, we were concerned that staying on the property for a week might limit our dining options or lead to menu fatigue. However, that concern quickly vanished. The food was so delicious that we barely scratched the surface of the extensive menus available. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations—the impeccable service, the soothing massages, and the stunning views all contributed to an experience that was nothing short of extraordinary.
