“CHAO Villa Retreat Stay”

Our stay here was honestly unreal... one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. The location is perfect. Everything you need is literally within 2–3 minutes from spas, massage spots, gyms, convenience stores, restaurants, and cafés. It made the entire trip effortless and super convenient. They also offer on-site motorbike rentals, which made getting around even easier! The facilities are next level. From the cold plunge, sauna, spa, and public pool — everything felt premium and well-maintained. It genuinely felt like a luxury retreat. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and it exceeded expectations. Both rooms had king-sized beds, everything was clean, modern, and designed beautifully. The private pool was a huge highlight, and the entire space just felt calm and high-end. The living area was massive and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need, including a stove, fridge, and even filtered water, which was a great touch for convenience and peace of mind. Not to mention the staff were amazing and accommodating to our needs. PLUS they give GYM PASSES for any guests staying with them! Overall, this place ticks every box. If you’re staying in Uluwatu, I highly recommend it — we’ll definitely be coming back.

“CHAO - A must stay place in Uluwatu”

Our room was spacious and clean. We loved the style of decor and our bed was so comfortable. It really feels like CHAO has thought of everything, even providing us laundry service, motorbike rental, and a large booklet of all the nearby attractions and recommendations, all of which we put to good use. No review of this place would be complete without mentioning the fantastic unique selling point of CHAO, which is the contrast therapy facilities - sauna and ice bath, which was the main reason why we initially booked our accommodation with them. We got so much use out of both, as well as their fantastic pool, which was perfect for both laps and lounging (a rarity in Bali). We enjoyed our time there so much that we're heading back soon and have already booked to stay at CHAO Villas and Recovery Spa again. A special mention for its location in Ungasan, a little bit away from the Uluwatu main drag and its traffic, but with great restaurants and cafes nearby (a special mention to Le Sando cafe which you can access through the back entrance of CHAO and where they make insanely good sandwiches and smoothies) and 100% accessible by Gojek or Grab. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for keeping the place so immaculate and for providing us with amazing service. See you again soon!

The whole set up of place! It is very tidy well set up the staff are very helpful and friendly . Has a nice relaxing vibe having recovery sauna, spa and ice. Information booklet in the room is a nice touch too rooms were clean comfortable and spacious.

“Best accommodation in Bali”

Probably one of the best accommodations that we have stayed at in Bali. Amazing clean pool. Beautiful spa. Location is perfect, driving along the beautiful golf course road will get you to the beach in about 10 min. Rooms are really clean, superb bathroom. Staff is really friendly and willing to help. We stayed for 12 days and loved every day!

Very accommodating and friendly staff. Arranged scooter very easily and the bikes were new with a phone holder. Laundry took a couple of hours. Nice sauna and spa area which was uncrowded. Thank you.

The Villa was amazing, really nicely appointed with a great little pool, and a pool table which kept us and the kids amused in the evenings! The hotel pool and relaxation spa added an extra level of enjoyment, and was beautifully done.
