“Old town, magical stay.”

The location was breath taking- full of charm. The hotel is along a cobbled path in the old town right beside the castle, you walk through the old town walls to get to the hotel…like a film. The room was an apartment- HUGE! Facilities were fantastic, washing machine, kitchen, two large bedrooms, shutters. Views of the sea from every room, the sunsets were unbelievable!!! We were so surprised by the facilities we had, the room/apartment exceeded our expectations. The apartment was clean, lots of clean towels, comfy lounge area. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom was huge, great shower and a hairdryer in the drawer which was so appreciated. Location is AMAZING, the old town is so lovely to wander around day or night- so magical. Breakfast was fabulous, so much variety- plates of fruit, yoghurts, cakes, meats, cheeses, eggs, breads, omelettes offered and made freshly as ordered. Breakfast was very generous and the most options we have ever been given in any hotel that isn’t a buffet. Staff were all so lovely and helpful- really great communication prior to and during our trip. My teenage daughter thought she had left her purse in the apartment after we checked out, we had arrived at a different city. The hotel manager went out of his way to return to the hotel and video called me so we could guide him to the correct cupboard…he looked in every room…the purse was in her bag. Highly recommend this hotel, very clean, great location and really lovely staff!!!

Excellent sea view and view of sunset. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice. The room was spacious with a small kitchen area to the side. Mini bar in room.

We had a stunning view of the ocean from our room. The staff were friendly and made a lovely breakfast upon request. It was in a great location.

view was incredible, every morning taking a look outside the window was majestic. location is also just amazing, we went in September so it was the perfect amount of crowded and quiet. very close in foot to pretty much everything around. we parked just down the start of the castle and although the 5 minute hike up to the entrance was challenging it wasn't anything you can't manage.

Lovely location and a lovely rustic hotel with nice rooms. aircon in the room was barely functional sadly. Breakfast options very limited

It had the most breathtaking view and also the hotel itself was very classic and pretty. The staff were helpful and welcoming. I liked the location as it was very historical and touristic.

The hotel is located in the old city of Ulcinj, which is a very nice location if you want to experience the charme of the old city and stay close to many restaurants, but it has its disadvantages. The hotel has a very good restaurant with a great view over the sea.

“Relaxing Experience in a Stunning Location”

Originally, we booked 4 nights, but later decided to arrive a day earlier and added one more night to our stay. Even though Booking didn’t offer the option to stay in the same room for the entire period, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and kept us in the same room the whole time – no need to move around. The hotel is located in a stunning spot with a beautiful sea view. Everything was smooth, and we really appreciated the flexibility and hospitality.

We loved staying at the hotel Pirate. The location was perfect and very quiet. Very nice personnel. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable with a wonderful view over the bay. Bathrooms modern and pleasant. The restaurant was very good too.

The view from the hotel is amazing, you see just the beauty and drama of the Adriatic. There is something special about this location in the Old Town. Overall I would much prefer staying here to one of the beachfront hotels that are numerous in Ulsinj. The breakfast was fine, it had everything one would need (though it was only from 9am which is a bit late for us).

Location is excellent, with beautiful views of the sea. The room itself was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was good as well, with freshly made eggs.
