“Really a 10/10 stay.”

Absolutely stunning location. We did the way up with a Peugeot 208 so really every car should be able to do it. Lovely hosts, we had such a warm welcome and such a nice invitation to hang out with them in the evening for cold beers. The hot tub was already preheated and breakfast was already in the fridge. The view from the apartment is absolutely stunning, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom even when small had everything you ever need. There are a lot of really nice cats, for any cat lover a dream. Another shout-out, our car died on the way to the accommodation and they did everything to help us, Damir even called Hyundai Montenegro to get more information and we kept contact over WhatsApp after our stay. Really a 10/10 and I've been to a lot of places. Thank you so much!

Probably the beat place i have ever stayed seriously. Everything was perfect from them pre heating the hot tub for your arrival to the great food in the restaurant. Thanks for everything! The road is a little tricky but manageable (we did it in a small hatchback) so dont let the road put you off, it is worth it 100%!

The view is stunning, and I loved the experience.

Everything was exactly as sold if not better. The views are absolutely beautiful, we did a lovely hike on our second day then came back to chill in the hot tub. We cooked dinner on the fire which was really wonderful. The host family are amazing and really made our stay extra special. Cabin was stylishly decorated with everything you need for a comfortable stay including robes for coming out of the hot tub. The road was as expected because we were informed before and sent videos to help. If you don't like nature and the things that come with it (insects etc) this place probably isn't for you.

Wonderful cabin with a great view and very nice host. Vegetable garden right next to the cabin. One hike starts right next to the cabin. There is another hiking path to a small waterfall which was marvellous. All in all: A great stay if you want to relax and enjoy nature. Keep in mind that it takes a lot longer to get up the hill than Google Maps tells you and that there are no shops, no restaurants or anything nearby. The road is a little tricky, especially if your car is quite low.

A wonderful place for a one-night break. We were afraid the road would be worse, but in dry weather it's quite passable. A nice warm bath was waiting and we could enjoy the sunset as well as the sunrise. Breakfast was eggs and sandwich material. Some of the insects were scary, but that's wild nature. I highly recommend this adventure.

The view is just so amazing, perfect place get away from city noise and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. We loved the stay here. Owners are so helpful and super nice! Excellent place, we recommend it to everyone.

“Magical experience at Horizon Lodge Medurec”

Breathtaking view from the cabin. Wonderful one night stay at Horizon Lodge - Medurec! The bath tub at night was a beautiful experience. Highly recommended! The family who runs the place is friendly and warm, and helpful to ensure that our stay was comfortable. The cats are very cute too!

Now I know what my ideal happy place looks like. The view, the hot tub, every little detail about the house was perfect. And the fooood! We ordered homemade dinner as an extra and it was indescribably fantastic (mixed grill, peppers and salad). Also, the owners let us treat ourselves to whatever berries and fruit we find in their garden and it was as if we came to datcha of my childhood. Daria, Damir and Damir's father did an amazing job of creating a perfect retreat place - the kind you start missing before you even leave it.

Horizon Lodge is highly recommended. The road to the lodge is challenging, but can be considered part of the experience and is really worth it. The view from the lodge is breathtaking. The host is really kind and helpful.

The host wait us till late evening to help up with the key and explain us the amenities of the accommodation. The accommodation is breathtaking, exactly as in the pictures. The road to reach the destination is quite a hazard but definitely u can reach it easily with carefully driving skills. The host and his all family are just amazing! They are so friendly and gave us some extra food products just because we didn't leave the place in our day of accommodation . It's really an unforgettable experience and I highly recommend the location of u want to escape in to the heart of the mountains, forget about anything and just enjoy the simplicity of this life, when most of us foreign. Thank u for all 🙏 & definitely will be back .

EVERYTHING! Damir and his family were exceptional hosts that go above and beyond. The scenery is spectacular and even better at night. Exactly as described. The cabin is private and quiet. Breakfast was a selection of cold meats, eggs, bread and jams. The cabin is cosy, but has everything you need for your stay.
