The place is magical. The food (breakfast and dinner) is amazing. The staff is incredible. Dushi (I hope to spell it right) was extremily kind, always smiling and so welcoming. We loved our stay. Our flight was canceled and we decided to come back.

This is simply the perfect place to unwind. Everything is beautifully decorated and we loved the furniture. The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. They even did our laundry for us. We felt refreshed for the rest of our journey.

This is a piece of heaven on earth. Such an elegant place. So peaceful and quiet, surrounded by nature. We were lucky enough to be the only guest and we felt at home. The beds were really comfortable, the facilities were clean, we were given privacy and really got the feeling of a very tranquil ambience despite traveling with kids. Maha the manager was incredible, always attentive and making sure we were well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and very good quality, they also accommodated my dietary requirements and made sure that everything was ok at all times.

We initially planned to stay only one night at The Weir House, but we were so completely charmed that we cancelled another hotel just to stay two nights instead — and we have absolutely no regrets. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning, with an incredible decoration that is both stylish and warm. The atmosphere is very intimate, peaceful, and welcoming — we truly felt at home from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, carefully prepared and full of flavor. The staff were simply amazing: always attentive, kind, and genuinely caring, whether it was helping us find a driver, organizing a massage, or making sure we were comfortable at all times. Being surrounded by jungle, completely immersed in nature, created an incredible sense of calm and well-being. It felt like a little sanctuary, far from everything, where time slows down and you can truly relax. This place is special. A real haven of peace. We would come back without hesitation and highly recommend The Weir House to anyone looking for an unforgettable, soulful, and deeply relaxing stay.

The garden was peaceful. The meals we ate were meticulously prepared. Staying longer than one night would definitely make more sense. Maha and everyone else were so kind. Everything was thought of to make us feel special.

I rate this apartment 10/10! Although getting there was a bit tricky, the peaceful atmosphere and delicious food more than made up for it. The interior design was truly impressive – stylish, well thought-out, and very comfortable. Big bonus for the great outdoor pool, perfect for relaxing. I definitely recommend it!

We loved the property it was absolutely stunning, an oasis in the hills. Accommodation, both the room and main lounge are beautifully designed and so comfortable. Rishi looked after us during meal times and was brilliant. Maha the manager is a fantastic guy and helped us out with some issues we had with train tickets to Ella. He was so helpful and such a nice guy. Food was amazing, both the quality and presentation. A 5 star experience and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is absolutely gorgeous, and we only regretted to not stay longer! The staff was incredible caring and made us feel like at home from the very first second. The freshly cooked food with ingredients from their own garden was absolutely top notch and the place is absolutely perfect to disconnect for a few days.

“A cozy and lush oasis in the middle of the forest!”

This was the best part of our trip to Sri Lanka. It really feels like you are at home. The staff were a big highlight, very kind and professional, but also friendly. We were tired and ended up spending most of our days at the hotel, enjoying the pool and playing games. The surrounding is magical, tucked in the forest. Rooms are well equipped and comfy. Food was also great.
