From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness and the inviting atmosphere. The house is beautifully decorated, combining modern comforts (AC in all bedrooms, ensuite master bedroom, warm water, clean swimming pool), with a cozy, homey feel. The location is good, close enough to local attractions and amenities, yet tucked away in a peaceful area that feels private and serene. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and there was plenty of space to dine comfortably. The manager Phidallice is very friendly and will help you with any request or issues with the house. Overall, this vacation house exceeded our expectations in every way. For Kenya standards, the house offers you high quality and a good value for the money.

The place is a gem. The house is well maintained, featuring a spacious swimming pool and various facilities for sports and entertainment. The rooms are clean, equipped with AC, and serviced daily. Highly recommended.

“A great place for families who want an escape from reality.”
It was exactly right for what we needed in terms of bedrooms and facilities. The pool was lovely and although the location was a little bit further away from the beach than we would normally book it was easy enough to get places by Tuk Tuk. The staff who we met were all wonderful - friendly and helpful. It was also really nice that they had so many toys for the kids (and adults) to play with. We would definitely stay at The Swimming Ostrich again.
