“Great local guesthouse”

Great local guesthouse, 1 min from beach with great house reef for snorkelling. Staff were incredibly accomadating & I can't praise them enough. Anything you asked for assistance from a tour to booking a boat back to Male was no problem. Breakfast included was exceptional as I loved the Maldivian local breakfast of fresh tuna & grated coconut. Do not miss it! My room was large with a window i could open, but aircon & fan also. I stayed here 6 nights, and everything was consistent. Thanks for a great stay in Ukulhas! Was sad to leave.

“Wonderful place!”

What a wonderful place! From day one, everyone here has been so helpful. The breakfast is absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the "Olhumathi Special" - it’s simply amazing! The lunches at the restaurant are also delicious, and I got a free liter of water with every meal! The room was very clean and had everything I needed, and the internet was very fast. I recommend checking out the view of the island from the rooftop, it’s incredible, especially at sunrise! The staff also helps organize trips where you can see mantas, sharks, turtles, and many other interesting places. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful vacation!

“Enjoyable stay”

The hotel looks beautiful and well maintained. The room was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. The only thing I personally wished for was an outdoor area, but everything else was truly great. The staff was absolutely amazing — so kind, responsive, and always available. Even before check-in, they were incredibly helpful, providing all the details I needed and replying quickly to every message. They picked me up from the ferry, dropped me off, and genuinely tried to accommodate every single request. Highly recommended! 😊

I’ve had the most wonderful stay at this hotel – it truly exceeded all of my expectations. The location is perfect, tucked away on a quiet street away from the larger hotels, which makes it feel peaceful and private. From the very first moment I arrived, I felt at home. The staff went above and beyond from the start. Before I even reached the island, they contacted me to arrange all of my travel, and when I got off the boat, there was a hotel staff member waiting with a sign to pick me up. He carried my bags, drove me in a golf buggy, and instantly made me feel welcome. That first impression really set the tone for the rest of my stay. My room was so comfortable, with one of the best beds I’ve ever slept in while traveling. It came with everything I needed – a kettle, tea and coffee, a fridge, and a big bathroom with great water pressure. I loved that they provided not only soap and shower gel, but also a toothbrush and Colgate toothpaste. Every day I was offered fresh towels – not just one or two, but plenty, including beach towels, bathroom floor towels, and beautiful fluffy white ones. The staff here truly make this place shine. They greet you every day with the warmest attitude and are always happy to help. I also appreciated that they checked daily if I wanted my room cleaned. Breakfast was a real highlight. I have celiac disease and explained when I arrived that I need to eat gluten free. Every single morning they prepared me a safe and delicious breakfast: fresh fruit, beans, a big omelette, water, juice, and tea or coffee. As a budget backpacker, having such a generous and safe breakfast included was amazing – it kept me full all day and saved me money on other meals. I originally booked just 4 nights, but I felt so safe, comfortable, and cared for that I ended up staying for more than 2 weeks. This hotel didn’t just give me a place to sleep – it gave me a home on Ukulhas. I already can’t wait to come back next year.

The room was very beautiful and the food was very delicious. The beach is very close, which made my stay even more special. The boss and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout my time here. I truly had a wonderful experience at Olhumathi Inn, something I will always keep as a lifetime memory. The hotel was very cosy, the accommodation was comfortable. the breakfasts are very tasty, varied and the portions are large. here was the most delicious mashuni. breakfast can be chosen from several options. there is also a cafe at the hotel. the beach is not far to walk (1-2min), the hotel has its own sunbeds. the beach is excellent. the construction nearby does not disturb.

“Perfect stay and experience”

Great location, great service, and we loved the food! Everything was arranged very well, we always felt like at home. They provide different kinds of breakfasts, awesome lunches and dinners, and we enjoyed everything we tried there. The location is one minute away from the amazing and very long beach with coral reef and sea turtles. For sure we want to come back again!

“Decent location for sunset beach, somewhat cramped room”

Location is a short walk to the sunset beach and to the supermarket. The staff responded quickly to my requests for information before and during the stay (e.g. booking the boat to and from Ukulhas etc). In-house restaurant, I had a seafood pizza for dinner which was decent.

“Perfect!”

Breakfast - very good and tasty. Location - near to the beach. Personel - exellent.

Very clean room. It has all the amenities, there is a nice garden. The staff is very kind and responsive. We did two nice excursions, caught fish. The staff cooked it deliciously for us. I am very satisfied, I recommend.

“Best Holidays Ever”

Fahim was really nice, he gave me all the information in advance and even arranged the transfer boat for us, so, no stress. The food was great and very healthy. Many of the vegetables and herbs comes from Fahim's garden at the roof. Baba the waiter was lovely. Always had a smile and he was ever so patient with my children. He gave us many tips about the island and even booked a barber to come to the hotel to cut my son's hair. The bedroom was spotless clean. The shower had a good pressure. The A/C was very powerful, north pole style. Less than a minute walking from the bikini beach. You can borrow some scuba gear from the hotel reception and enjoy swimming with the colourful fish. Looking forward to come back. I would give 20 stars if I could.

I liked that I only stayed one night and not more. there are much better options on the island for similar amounts of money
