“Very interesting and nice place.”

Very special and interesting place. You feel like camping, but have all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay at the "tent-house". Some (most likely - bigger) houses have a special "second floor" playhouse and a place to sleep for bigger kids. The wc&shower "room" was small, but still normaly usable. The most exiting thing both for kids and adults was a plane-spotting! Use apps for tracking the plane flying above that place, get all the additional information and enjoy the view! Be aware of some plane related noice, but it is also a part of the "game" :), and somehow there were no planes and their sounds during the night time. Surrounding nature is very nice as well, you can go for some walk by the lake, etc. We really want to come back here and stay for longer.

Perfect for our needs, a family of five travelling together. The beds were comfy, the heat pump kept us warm enough, we had brought sleeping bags in case we were cold overnight in April but we were fine with just the duvets provided. Good location to stay somewhere peaceful but close to visit Amsterdam. We parked one day at Uitgeest train station and went i to Amsterdam, very easily done and maybe around 30mins on the train, I can't quite remember. Kids enjoyed the playground on the site and the tent was a good stay for us.

The concept is great! A very good place for beginners with watersports. Renting SUP is included in the price. The area is beautiful . Very nice restaurant Krelis ( a bit expensive though) Friendly lady at the front desk upon arrival

High quality tent and furniture. A lot of different spaces for various activities such as family games or reading. The canoes on site were really nice. The staff was very helpful and gezellig (as the dutch say).

“"Flight Path Nightmare"”

On booking I had multiple challenges and incorrect charges, constantly charged for extra person and tax charges sent vs displayed are incorrect. A real disappointment and I had to have my bank involved twice to assist as well as 3 calls to the company and multiple emails, a real turn off and VERY unprofessional. Booked with a dog and advise Euro 35 charges for extra cleaning, totally understandable if the accommodation was clean, a real disappointment with ashtrays left dirty, beds not made, spiderwebs literally everywhere, fridge not clean, weeds growing through flooring. Its a feeling of half finished and take your money at all costs, the biggest disappointment is you are located under two flight paths to Schiphol airport, when booking a word of advice, beware, the flights are subject to prevailing wind directions and night one was beyond belief, our overriding comment was someday someone stood here and planned this property even with such incredible noise. When asking the team about this we were advise its noted on the website that is "located near an airport". Two nights out of three were absolute shockers. IN addition the booking policy allows 6 to 8 in one tent, Next door we had six guests on a boys trip loaded with beers and BBQ and little respect for anyone else that night. On complaining the team did deal with it for the last night so this with a new wind direction provided an evening of what we anticipated all three would have been like. What we were also not aware of is the only restaurant on site closed on arrival day and the place is "open" to the public which didn't add any value to the property and once we even had outsiders on bikes telling us what to do in the facilities! The items provided, canoe and SUP are not practical in the locations and the transport facilities in terms of getting then to water and only two kids life jackets and zero adults.
