The cottage we stayed in was very beautifully renovated and lovely to stay in. There are trails that run all over the reserve to hike or cycle on. Saw a lot of wildlife as well.

We loved how the staff were friendly from the start. They were very welcoming at our arrival and accommodating whenever we needed them. Mr. Koert and Sherly were quite a host. We are definitely coming back. We also enjoyed that there was a playing area for the kids

This is a wonderful place! We liked it very much! The accommodation is equipped with everything you need and even more! You will definitely not regret if you spend a few days/week here. I would like to note the kindness and hospitality of Koert and Sherly, they helped us with any issue, they also helped us with fixing the tire that we punctured back on the way from Addo Park. We will definitely remember this place for the rest of our lives, thanks a lot to owner for creating such a unique place!

There was no tea / coffee / milk which is unusual even if it is self catering. Town is far away so it should be mentioned if not provided.

We loved the setting of the Lodges. Beautiful Views from the Pool area . There was a nice safe Hiking Trail through the Farm. Mountain Bikers would love it there. Very comfortable accommodation with each Lodge having its own private Braai facility. The Staff are Very friendly.

Zungah Lodge is very very clean, modern, very well equipped, with a great plunge pool and great cooking facilities. It’s in the middle of nowhere, so it was very peaceful and beautiful.

Warm welcome , attention to detail in everything there. No TV a big plus for us! There is wi-fi so not completely isolated. Solar power and a plunge pool.

The property is absolutely stunning, the kitchen is fully kitted out, it felt like a home away from home. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The host was exceptional and we really appreciated that he went the extra mile for us, making sure we took the safest root there.

“Heavenly Haven”

The warm and friendly Koert & Sherly were so welcoming to this haven in nature. Both tne interior and exterior were spacious and exceptionally clean and neat. We had the most amazing views on 3 aspects from bright and airy living rooms. Huge comfy bedrooms and massive en suites. Even the shower is roomy. Subtle shades of grey and sage blended well with wood and cane, brick and slate to match the landscape. A well appointed kitchen with modern lines and appliances plus a good braai area. A delightful splash pool for cooling off after a hike in a space adorned with natural form plants and a shady tree or 2. Zebra spotted from the living room while we awaited an evening game drive. The skies at night adorned with stars and in the day with beautiful clouds and rainbows or endlessly blue. Wakened to abundant birdsong and fell asleep to chirping of tne crickets. Zungah Lodge is a treasure unearthed whether you want to hike, cycle, spot game or just relax away from the madding crowd.
