David and Annika are very nice and built a little paradise in the desert. We did feel very welcome and enjoyed talking to them and staying in the air-conditioned little houses surrounded by a green garden. The breakfast was great.

“Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere”

- The owners of the place are super kind and they look after you as you were family. Very heartwarming. - Breakfast is awesome. - Room is very well designed and the bed is very comfortable and huge. - The rooms are air-conditioned. - There is a few restaurants in the village. - We booked a desert-elephant tour with the owner. It was amazing, totally worth the time and the money. The guide even brought a bag full of snacks and drinks. I would go anytime again!

“Excellent option in Uis / on the way to up Etosha”

Perfect choice for Uis, on the way up north to Etosha... The lodge is beautiful and the owners make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Rooms come in a nice and natural style, ends very comfy. Parking on the property. The hosts even helped us to make an own small picnic on the spot and served drinks and plates. Really a great place not to miss out !

“Amazing Place”

Entering Uis is a little disconcerting..... Then you arrive at the Desert Hose and it's like an Oasis!!! They have built a beautiful place with beautiful African colours and plants, quite surreal. Accommodation is beautiful

The place and the rooms are delicately decorated with an artistic touch and attention to detail.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival. The entire property is very well-maintained and inviting for relaxation. Everything is lovingly decorated. I like the 2 painted Kudus.

A little oasis in the desert. Beautiful rooms. The outside areas just perfect. Delicious breakfast. A must do if you're visiting Namibia Close enough to Spitzkoppe and Henties bay. I would stay at least 2 nights next time

Loved the attention to the details. Breakfast was good. The owner stayed nearby until we were all off to bed. Good relaxed vibes. Half an hour from the White Lady Paintings.
