“Possibly the best apartment we’ve ever rented”

This is possibly the best apartment we’ve ever rented. Bear in mind that there were only 2 of us and the apartment is for 6 people. As a result, for example, I was able to spread my desktop computer and papers out on the huge dining room table, which still left us the large kitchen table to eat at. Here are some of the pluses of this lodging: 1. Parking in town – incredibly easy! You pass through Uhart-Cize (takes a few minutes), then either park in the lot on the left just past the Kômôresto store or park in the huge parking lot next to the closed market on the right, although on Monday you may have to look hard for a space because of the fantastic (!) outdoor market). After that, it’s a short walk to everywhere, except the Citadelle, which is not a must-see anyway. 2. Ditto parking at the apartment – When you come back the house is easy to spot, enter and park at. 3. No noise whatsoever – No noise whatsoever from the neighbours below, no noise whatsoever when the windows were closed, could hardly hear a thing when the windows were open during the day. (Note: I am extremely sensitive in this area.) 4. Super-friendly and helpful hosts – I especially appreciated Nicholas’ patience when I tried to speak French. And thanks for the foie de pork, the jam and the giant zucchini from your garden which awaited us on arrival. 5. Other – lots of plugs; comfortable beds; lots of closet space in bedrooms; lots of light from elements; lots of cutlery, dishes, etc.; shower door closed perfectly (no water got out); lots of space, lots of hot water, comfortable furniture, beautiful setting; well-cared for. We did not use the other facilities, e.g., balcony, barbecue, outdoor garden area.
