The best aspect of this hotel was the restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. In fact, we returned for a second dinner. The breakfast was also good, standard range that seemed to cater to German tastes.

“Great visit to Udine at Ambassador Palace Hotel”
Great location, only 10 minutes walk from any of the main sights. Good breakfast selection, nice restaurant (small, so important to book ahead). Lovely room, comfortable bed and super shower. Make sure to visit all the Tiepolo sites in town, especially the Galleria Tiepolo, the castle, the Duomo and the nearby Oratorio. Also a day-trip to nearby Cividale del Friuli (30 mins by bus or car) to see the Tempietto Longobardo and other sights.
