We went to Udawalle for a safari. The owner organised it and it was fab. The owner/staff could not have been more helpful.. The setting was very idyllic.

it's much better than on photos. Spacious place to stay, air conditioned big family room, very very tasty breakfasts and dinner. I was sceptical to get a good service for this price, but it was exceeding my expectations - clean, AC, good wifi, very peaceful view, free kayaking, bikes. I wish to stay more! The owner organised safari for us for a very reasonable price (12K for a jeep of 4 people+tickets), helped to choose the right time to go - we went from 12 to 4 when it's not crowdy with jeeps and saw A LOT of elephants (40+ some in big groups) bathing, eating, mudding. Then 8+ crocodiles, then deers, mangooses, buffalos, wild pig, lots of birds. It was so good that we decided not to go to Yala safari in our trip later)) Highly recommend to everyone! thank you Rajeeva for your hospitality!

The accommodation was spacious, clean, and simply lovely. Great air-condition and the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful hostes and delicious food

Lovely People. Best Value for Money. They arranged a nice safari for our family with kids. Owner was very nice, also showing the fruits in the garden to our kids and getting playing equipment for them. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it. Authentic dinner - very good!

Hosts very welcoming and available to help for anything needed. Free bikes and canoe available, big vegetarian breakfast. We came a little sick from our stomach and the host went to buy us some ginger beer, thank you 🙏🏼

This is an exceptional place. The little houses are very nicely designed and comfortable. The grounds of the place are gorgeous, offering a fantastic view of the lake. Rajiv and co. were exceptional hosts, who also scheduled a very nice safari for us. Breakfast was superb both in quality and quantity. We wished we could stay for longer.

The place is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts are so so sweet. It’s super quiet and peaceful. The breakfast and dinner were almost overwhelming but everything tasted so good and the woman who cooked is the sweetest. Value for money wise, this place is 10/10. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended for a peaceful stay after back to back visit of the regions from Sigiri to Udalwalwe. The place is like dreamy. As we entered, we were so astonished by the beauty of the place. There are houses to stay surrounded by the lake. The owner and the workers were so friendly. The greeted us very warmly and prepared the dinner for us. The maid explained the dishes and its preparations while making the food. They made the Srilankan pancake for us. they made us the black tea and provided some biscuits. The property owner took us for a boat ride in the evening. The place were so safe. It was the off season we visited, hence only we were at the property. But still we feel safe and sound there. We enjoyed an amazing time near to the lake. It was raining too. During night, it looks so amazing with the lights all around. The were swings to rest and the beauty of the nature was so blended with it. They had a pet called Ruby for all the pet lovers. We truly felt like home and didnt feel like to leave the place. I think everyone should take a stay here during your Srilanka visit.

I loved the location. Also, there is flowing clean water which is connected to a river. I got opportunity to swim there. The whole area was away from all the chaos, connected to nature. I loved my stay over there and happily extended one nore day to enjoy the scenic beauty. Also, the owner is quite friendly. It's a safe, and tranquil space for female solo travellers.

We had a wonderful stay just minutes from Udawalawe National Park. The property has an incredible garden with unbeatable views of the river—truly a special place to relax and enjoy nature. The hospitality was outstanding. The hosts were warm and attentive, making us feel very welcome. Dinner was absolutely delicious—generous portions, maybe even too much food! The rooms are basic but more than sufficient, with hot water and good pressure. What really stands out are the common areas—beautifully designed and perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset, and with some luck, you can even spot wild elephants nearby. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
