The room is nice and clean and safe ! The meals on the lake are delicious! The people are very friendly and the safari Was great!!!!

Amazing location, the lake was just perfect to spend the evenings by. Food was perfect too, able to cater to dietary needs. The safari tour was very affordable and reasonable, really informative and felt like I had seen everything. Could not recommend here enough. Thanks very much!

A stunning little hotel by a lake, with the nicest people running it! The property is so incredibly beautiful, and the food there is amazing! Hot water showers, AC, good price on everything, it was really amazing!

The property is well maintained and very peacefully laying right next to a lake. The room was clean and the balcony had a very nice view. Best thing about the accommodation is the lovely lady who is running the place. She was very kind and helpful and her food was truly delicious! I can highly recommend staying here - I would definitely come back.

The hosts were so kind and accommodating, they made us feel so at home. The hotel is set in the most beautiful spot with the lake.

The food we had was amazing!! The safari was incredible and very informative we went for the 7 hour one which was great as it didnt feel rushed. Swimming in the lake, sunbathing on the sunbeds and kayaking was another highlight that made the stay perfect.

They have free canoes and bikes. Also breakfast was great and they had a welcome drink.

The best place I've stayed so far in Sri Lanka! Very welcoming family serving great food and putting on a great Safari tour. And the accommodation is perfectly situated with a lake in front that you can swim and kayak in.

I really liked the property because it felt familiar and welcoming, with a great view of the lake. It wasn’t crowded, which made the stay even more relaxing. We were able to organize everything directly with the family, which made the experience very personal and easy. Highly recommended!

“Worth every penny and more..”

A tranquil, haven of peace within beautiful surroundings. A freshwater lake to swim and very hospitable hosts. A lovely homestay where we felt very looked after. We also booked a 'safari' to the nearby national park with them for a very fair price. What we received was absolutely worth every penny. Samantha is a very experienced driver and guide. He knew how to keep us away from the chaos and we only saw a handful of other jeeps all day. We enjoyed breakfast in the park and his experience helped us to spot many birds and animals. Madu is a wonderful cook and made us superb evening meals that could have fed a whole family! We honestly didn't want to leave...

Really nice homestay. Do really good safari's by their own. Enjoyed my stay there and recommended it to some friends

“Lovely guesthouse at the lake”

This place deserves it's high ranking: Lovely staff, delicious food and a very comfy mattress. I did a wonderful with safari with them. The rooms have hot water and AC and moskito net. Simple but very good value. I would love to come again.

The staff were lovely, the food delicious, the bed comfortable , the shower water warm. A basic homestay in a very rural area. We visited the elephant orphanage, an admirable project and well worth seeing.

Beautiful location; a bit secluded but not a problem to get to via tuktuk. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The host Muda was so helpful and attentive and she cooked some of the most amazing food we had had on our trip!

It's a very quiet place with Lske View, actually an Island in the Paradise. Excellent food. Very nice, sympathetic and helpful owner.

Beautiful location right at the lake. Ideally for swimming, kayaking, chilling, ... A real little paradise. Very friendly and helpful host family. And delicious food! Breakfast and dinner on the little boat/ponton, surrounded by the lake, jungle, birds singing, .. . Spectacular!!! We also adivice the seven hour safari tour with the host. He has a big knowledge about the wildlife and knows the best spots to spot elephants, crocodiles, monkeys, peacocks, birds, .... Next time we will definitively stay longer to be able to relax and chill next to, in and on the lake! Thank you for the wonderful stay!!! Stuti

“Incredible in all departments, especially the food”

Exceptional everything, location is amazingly peaceful right on a lake you can swim in, great safari, a/c room and I have to say the best meal I think I've ever eaten! Ridiculously cheap too

“Excellent guest house and safari!”

Excellent staff and breakfast! They organized a safari for us which we can also highly recommend! The area is beautiful and you can borrow bicycles to explore the area. For my birthday they even decorated and the dinner was excellent as well.
