Beautiful, spacious, clean and quiet place with very, very helpful and always smiling owner. We really loved his professional attitude, he had everything well organized! We loved the food - during this stay, we had both breakfast and dinner included in the price. Rooms are exactly as on pictures, Fantastic Jungle view from rooms! Amazing to listen and watch nature and animals.

A wonderful place to stay! Our villa was so spacious and great to have balcony space. The pool area was lovely and made for a great spot of relaxation after a safari. The hosts were amazing, quickly organising lunch for us and an afternoon safari as soon as we arrived. They also arranged some laundry for us and even taught showed us how to play one of their favourite board games

Loved this property. The welcome was lovely, the room was great with a four poster bed with mosquito nets all around, an amazing big bathroom, a lovely balcony and Socks the cat.

We booked safari through the hotel and we can not be more happy as we had wonderful driver/guide sanjeewa He is very knowledgeable, he knew how to find lot of different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He is also very good driver, we felt safe (we had toddler with us) and had great time with sanjeewa

He fixed me up with a safari guide and time slot within half an hour of me arriving. The evening meal was huge and delicious. He drove me to the bus stop the following day. A brilliant host.

Two pools to choose from and enjoyed the meals from the on-site restaurant. Exceptional value for money. Very polite and friendly staff. The Udawalawe Safari was organised through reception including a picnic meal. They also organised our taxi to Unawatuna .

Very clean and comfy rooms. Great stay for doing a Safari. We did the 4 hrs tour with Big Safari and it was gorgeous. Meals were also gorgeous, they can serve lunch and super delicious curry for dinner. Breakfast was also huge and very tasty!

“Simply the best place for visiting Udawalawe national park”

Can't wish for anything more when you want to visit Udawalawe national park. We arrived at the end of the day and were warmly welcomed with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan dinner. Room is basic but got a good working AC and okay bed. The next morning we were one the first ones to enter Udawalawe national park, together with the host who was a great safari guide. When we got back around 10am, a delicious breakfast was waiting on us. Therefore: if you're planning to visit Udawalawe national park: this place offers exactly what you need.

The manager was very helpful at arranging extra requests. Including the Safari trips. The rest of the staff were also friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and have more than I would expect for the price. The breakfast was good. Overall I would definitely recommend.

The wild feeling and how place is huuge. Restaurant food is quite good, sanjeewa waiter especially kind. Also, prices are just fine, not too expensive. Breakfast was great. Safari was amazing, super nice guide Wijeesinghe. We stayed for 3 nights, could have stayed more, would be happy to come back! Also, amazing for kids.
