“A wonderful, memorable experience - we can't thank the staff & hotel enough!”

The best value hotel we stayed in in Sri Lanka and by far the most memorable!!! We stayed as part of our honeymoon and the staff couldn't do enough for us. A beautiful pool, close to the park entrance, and really lovely rooms suitable both for couples and families.

“Super hotel! Never been treated so well in my life!”

We have never been so well looked after in our lives! We were offered a choice of rooms, which were clean and comfortable, right onto the gorgeous swimming pool and kids play area (where they even provided balls for the kids to play with in and out of the water). The staff were exceptional - always offering extras (milkshakes, extra juices, breakfast options for no charge, umbrellas during a quick rain shower), with smiles and charming attitudes. Very easy access to the Elephant Sanctuary, park safaris too. I could not rate this hotel more highly.

“Nicest hotel staff we ever met, truly great Sri Lankan hospitality”

We had a big family room which was nicely furnished. AC working well. The hotel pool is perfect, lots of shade and sun beds/umbrellas. Pool towels were provided. The hotel is close to the entrace to the National park and elephant transit home. lots of nice restaurants within few minutes of tuk tuk drive. What was truly exceptional about this hotel was the staff and the hotel manager. We were greeted with the fresh juices, our kids were offered ice cream/juices every day for free. When we arrived there was just a wedding finished in the restaurant area, and they offered us to get some food and cakes as well. All the staff were super friendly and nice to our kids and us. Hotel manager offered to drive us around all the time, which was very nice - we did not have to worry about ordering a cab or tuk tuk. He gave us his number so we could call him, when needed. We had a medical emergency with our baby during the stay and he immediately offered to take us to the local hospital and kindly stayed during the whole time, translating everything and helping us get around. I can not thank them enough for their hospitality that went beyond the usual guest/hotel staff exchange. it was great experience of Sri Lankan kind people.

“A nice hotel with good pool and buffet dinner”

The nicer rooms are situated around the pool, ask for one of these. Pool is great and buffet dinner was nice. The hotel were helpful in assisting us with getting our laundry done. They were very helpful when we asked to see an alternative room.

Workers were so nice. Great service. Kids were more than welcome.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The entire hotel was beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming — they made us feel at home from the first moment. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and a perfect place for families with children. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel!

It’s a shame, it’s a badly kept and managed hotel. Photos make you believe it’s ok but certainly not a good place to stay

There was great customer service and loads of hot water, it was so nice to have a swimming pool at my door.

It was a great hotel, very family friendly, the pool was incredible, with balls to play and welcome after a hot day. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was also really nice! The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

“Great family place with pool and playground”

It was a beautiful surrounding, the pool is great and in a lush green garden. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate us, drove us to restaurants, arranged the safari, gave us fresh fruit for on the way and were super kind for the children.

Great size rooms, very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Lovely welcome drink served. Amazing pool for families. We ordered breakfast and there was so much delicious food we couldn’t finish it. Great value for money.

Great hotel. We took the triple room which was very comfortable. Shower pressure was good and the room a large size. No bugs in the room. Hotel had a nice pool and was up to date and modern. Very good value for money. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful- they went beyond what was expected (wanted to give a special mention to Serasinghege who was excellent!!) Staff arranged a safari at late notice and the driver was very skilled and took us to the best locations via jeep.

Exceptional value. World class customer service. The rooms: large and clean. Very hot shower! Fan and AC. The food: Delicious and plentiful - the breakfasts are amazing! Safari: the hotel organised a fantastic safari for us. We had the jeep to ourselves and were one of the first into the park. Amazing experience Most importantly: the customer service. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced in any country. For example, we wanted to go to a gym in the town so we were driven at no cost. It was actually shut so they found another gym for us and even spoke to the owner to ensure we didn’t get charged a “tourist price”. Every member of staff goes the extra mile to help you, including the pool cleaners, the waiters, the managers. Everyone.
