“Everything is perfect.”
Very nice location with a green courtyard.The host was very frindly and helpful.he helped me spospontaneously book a safari for the next day.There was also a buffet of sri lankan curries in the evening , which were very tasty and varied i would d come back at any time.

“Magical, remote, relaxed break in a stunning location.”
The manager was a real delight. So friendly, attentive and a fanstastic cook. The food was delicious! The room and en suite were huge as was the bed. Really comfortable, with a lovely covered verandah.

Scam! You need to book an expensive safari to stay there and it’s not at the location provided. Dirty, bad food and hostile service. DO NOT BOOK

we stayed at the La Casa for two nights to do the safari and we can highly recommend it. not only that the rooms are really nice and clean, but also Ajith is a really nice guy and welcomed us in the best way he could. he helped us where ever he could. We did also the safari with him and that also was the best experience we could get. you can really tell that he is doing his safaris with passion.

“Delightful tropical hideaway”
The friendly staff, the garden including a peacock, the open air dining area, and the delicious food. The room had a fan and air conditioner, its own little verandah, and a mosquito net over the bed. There were no mosquitos inside but we used it. It was also very quiet. A lovely place to stay. They even accommodated our dairy free and meat free diet. The food was delicious. All at a very good price.

It was a very quiet stay, with a clean room and a charming bathroom. The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The hotel's safari service was also excellent, a great service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this to everyone visiting Udawalawe.

Nature frindly and beautiful treehouse with quiet surrounding.very frindly staff and we tasted yummy food there.They organized great e safari for a fair price.we highly recommende this nice place to others . Definitely we will come back .

“A jungle gem”
This place is literally a piece of paradise. Surrounded by lush, leafy greenery, it truly feels like being immersed in the jungle — peaceful, alive, and grounding from the moment you arrive. Ajith and his helper Anata make the experience even more special. They are incredibly attentive, kind, and genuinely warm people, always smiling and happy to help. Their care and presence really set this place apart. We went on a safari trip with Ajith and it was absolutely amazing — truly worth it. We saw elephants, birds, and crocodiles, and what stood out most was Ajith’s deep respect for the animals and for nature. You can tell he does this with real integrity and love for the environment. We also ate at the property and the food was delicious — proper Sri Lankan rice and curry, full of flavour and cooked with care. Breakfast was magical too, enjoyed among birdsong, surrounded by nature waking up around us. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer. A very special place that stays with you.
