“Beautiful accomodation with lovely staff”

Amazing location, saw many wild monkeys close by. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were treated to a delicious fruit drink on arrival. Pool was lovely and great for kids of all ages. Had a packed breakfast ready for us before heading off early on a safari. Highly recommend Eliyanth Udawalawe

“Beautiful garden oasis and pool, exceptional value for money.”

This is a beautiful place to stay for a visit to Udawalawe NP. The rooms are big and very clean, the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is great with a lovely shower. The gardens are really beautiful and the pool is so big and refreshing after a safari. The food was delicious, staff were super helpful - everything was 10 ⭐️

This was my last stop before flying home and I am so glad I went! The hotel is gorgeous. My dinner was fantastic and my table directly overlooked the National Park, seeing a Serval on my first night. The next morning I went on the safari - the hotel has its own jeep and tour guide, so it was unbelievably easy. (Just what you want at 6am!) A breakfast was packed for me and was perfect. (Fresh fruit included - yum!) Staff were lovely and helped with my heavy bags, which I appreciated as I had a bad shoulder. The pool was great, too. Room had air conditioning and a fan - and was huge! And they sorted my airport transfer for me on my last morning!

Amazing service, staff and manager were so friendly and helpful. The room and pool area was beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would highly recommend and love to come back! Lunch and dinner was great.

“Beautiful jungle location”

Beautiful jungle setting. Saw monkey, giant squirrel and land monitor from our river view balcony. The pool area was lovely with huge pool and quiet location. They arranged a safari for us and our guides were great!

“Great value for money stay close to Udawalawe and with amazing staff and food”

Eliyanth lodge is situated beautiful with its own garden and swimming pool, and close to Udawalawe national park. The room was comfortable and spacious. We booked the safari tours with them which was very easy and well arranged. Special thanks to our driver and guide Shantha Kumara who was very knowledgeable and made a sincere effort to give us the best safari experience. The staff at the Eliyanth itself was also great, all being very helpful and thoughtful. Lastly the food was amazing. We would definitely recommend the place, with great value money.

“Lovely room and pool”

We loved our stay in Eliyath. We stayed in the kohomba room which was cozy and made with wood. We had a swim in the pool after 6pm which was warm and relaxing. We also bought the 4 hour safari from the hotel and had a lovely morning safari and breakfast afterwards. We had great service throughout our stay too!

“Good for 2 nights”

The place is pretty and they are welcoming. They had little puppies very cute that also welcomed us!! The rooms was big and the view to the river. The staff was nice and very nice located from the Uda Park.

It would be nice if there was a TV in the room.

Beautiful spot close to Udawalawe and Elephant Transit Home. The staff were all very accommodating and went out of their way to make our stay great. The food was great and the safari they organised was amazing. Lovely family room with plenty of space

Staff friendliness and room

Fabulous remote location beside river, great and helpful staff, rooms were impressive, swimming pool was a real treat, restaurant had a choice of SL food and western style. Best spaghetti adiabatic I've had for awhile.

Perfect location for elephant trip, modern, very clean, very quiet. Special thanks to Vijay for excellent service and arranging a spontaneous fishing trip!

“Quiet hotel near Udawalawa National Park with wonderful staff!”

Lovely and peaceful hotel very close to the entrance of Udawalawe National Park. What makes this place special is the wonderful staff. They were so kind and always willing to help. The hotel organized our safari and it was incredible! Special mention to Tharushi and Tharindu for being so caring and making sure we had an amazing stay!

“BEST place in Udawalawe”

First of all it is a little jungle oasis in the heart of Udawalawe. Very nice, clean an comfortable rooms. The manager Wijay, and the rest of the stuff, Naween, Dilshan, Wihaga, Wishmi and Tharidu where absolutely friendly. We had there the best dinner on our journey. The food and breakfast were GREAT. Thanks for that wonderfull stay.

“Great Value for money”

Great value for money, staff were friendly and the food was decent. We were only there one night so didn’t get to use the facilities. Location was lovely next to a river. Bed was comfortable and room clean.
