“Lovely stay post safari tour, amazing hosts & incredible breakfast”
Lovely stay at the Elephant Lodge post our safari tour, only 10 minute drive away and great value for money! Hosts were very friendly and helpful and was perfect for what we needed. Breakfast was amazing, our best one so far in Sri Lanka!!

We were looking for a semi Jungle feeling to match our safari tour in Uduwalawe National Park, and Elephant Lodge was excellent for this purpose. Wild life, especially wild peakcocks from our private terrace. The organized safari tour was perfect.

“Loved it”
It was super quiet and in the middle of nature. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We felt like little VIPs, on arrival they asked us already what and when we wanted to have dinner and breakfast. They prepared everything lovely and it was super delicious.

“what you see is what you get!”
Price quality 100% ok!! don't understand all the criticisms described by other guests. if you want to visit elephants in the jungle and you are looking for an average accommodation, this lodge will meet all your needs. friendly staff. a fantastic extensive lunch and sleep in nature. it's basic but fine. access road a bit bumpy but still better than the morning rush hour in London!! get a life !

“A peaceful place to stay and is a short drive away from the national park.”
The lodge is situated within a very quiet part of town, away from traffic and noise; it is only a short driver away from the national park. Owner is very friendly and helpful; she provided assistance via text message even when she is not physically present at the lodge. -staff are also very warm and friendly, going out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

Very friendly & helpful host. Good sized accommodation with view of garden & field beyond. Comfy bed, nice to have bottled water, tea & coffee sachets & kettle in room. Close to Udawalawe National Park. Elephant Lodge arranged our safari, our driver and car were excellent. Dinner was tasty, we chose the Sri Lanka curry & rice option. Breakfast was OK

“Relaxing cabins near Udawalawe NP”
Elephant lodge is great for an overnight stay so you can take a safari at Udawalawe National Park. Hotel staff were able to organise the safarai and make suggestions on the best time to do it . The property is in a quiet secluded location, with the cabins overlooking a reserve. Included breakfast was good quality and you are able to request lunch and dinner as well, as there is no restaurants or shops in the immediate area. Take any snacks, supplies and money with you if you need them whilst there. Overall, a pleasant relaxing stay and nice friendly staff :)
