Absolutely exceptional stay, from start to finish. The host was fantastic, we got welcome drinks & they organised our safari for us. When we got back from the safari we were able to do a late check out which really helped us organise ourselves for our onward travel. The place is spotless and the room was huge. Amazing value for money. So worth it!

Wonderful hosts, a delicious welcome drink on arrival and another after the safari. Great accomodation, huge room, amazing bathroom with waterfall shower, set in a beautiful peaceful garden. The host organised the safari and it was amazing and nice to have some time out for some fruit and snacks during the safari. We also ate dinner here and it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough, it was worth 4 times the amount we paid.

Great stylish accommodation. The room looked very new with very tasteful interior design. Partly outside bathroom also very nice. We also ordered some dinner which was reasonably priced and really good. Staff very attentive and super nice! Highly recommended for a stay in Udawalawe.

This place is fantastic. It is only a few minutes from town but beautifully peaceful. The host is amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him. It was immaculately clean. Great value for money. If you are staying in Udawalawe you will be hard pressed to find anything better.

Beautiful oasis in nature and not far from Udawalawe National Park. Very attentive staff. Owner arranged an evening safari for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. Lovely lodge cabin with air conditioning, well designed bathroom with ‘waterfall’ and outside dining deck. Highly recommend - we loved it.

“Very hospitable, well located, good for safari”

A lovely set of cottages tucked into the jungle. We stayed just one night so that we could do the Morning safari on the day of checkout. Communication beforehand was great and we were able to choose which type of safaris and the length. We decided once we arrived to eat at the accommodation - we had chicken rice and kothu. There was a nice outdoor area attached to the cottage and a few hammocks too. The safari organised for us was excellent - we saw lots of elephants and had a lovely breakfast in the park too.

We had an excellent night at EdenHaven Cottage! The place is secluded, surrounded by nature, very peaceful, and close to the park. The room is very clean with a large bed, and the bathroom is also very spacious with hot water. The terrace is perfect for relaxing, and we even had a huge hammock to lounge in together. We asked to have dinner on site and it was delicious. Breakfast is also served on the terrace, it’s generous and tasty. The entire staff is smiling, attentive, and truly caring. They organized our safari, which was simply perfect. Our driver was very friendly, explained many things about the park, and showed us lots of animals, some well hidden, that we would never have seen without him. He even prepared a huge snack for us in the middle of the safari. We highly recommend this place and strongly suggest booking the safari with them!

Beautiful modern cottage with a nice, big terrace. Quiet surroundings in a junglely Atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff.

It was a wonderful cottage in a quiet location with a very interesting and fantastic bathroom. The room and the area around the cottage were also wonderful. The owners arranged a wonderful all-day safari for us, including breakfast and lunch. They also arranged dinner and made it very tasty. There's nothing to complain about; everything was wonderful.

“True haven in nature”

Paradise. Great bungalows in natural garden, hammocks for chilling. Delightful staff, very attentive & helpful. Arranged amazing safari for us, half day - many elephants, 2 bulls very close, lakeside sightings of female groups, crocs & exotic birds & a great breakfast! Breakfasts & dinners were fab Relatively new property, 2 years old & everything is good quality - amazing for the price. Waterfall shower superb! Arranged transport to & from the property with.

I would give this place more than 10 if I could. One of the best places I have stayed for the price and the people are amazing.

“Extraordinary place”

EdenHaven Cottage in Udawalawe is the perfect place before and after a safari in the nearby national park. The safari could be booked directly through the host and was perfectly organized by him. The room was truly exceptional and very close to nature, with an open-air shower that made the stay a unique and memorable experience.

My friend and I stayed at EdenHaven Cottage for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The host was extremely helpful, he arranged a perfect transfer for us from Hiriketiya to their location and another one when we left for Ella. The accommodation offers dinner and lunch options for only 6€ p.p, we had dinner there both nights and it was delicious and served on the terrance which was very lovely and made the experience feel extra special. Breakfast is also served on the private terrace and it’s maybe basic but delicious! We also asked for a laundry service and our clothes were ready perfectly on time before check out on our last day :)) We also booked the Safari through the accommodation and we absolutely recommend it!! So far it’s the best accommodation we’ve stayed in here in Sri Lanka :))

“Great stay and exceptional service”

We had a fab stay at Eden Haven Cottage - the room was comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. We arranged our safari with them and our transport on to Ella after our stay. Whilst there isn’t a restaurant on site, they served breakfast and dinner on the balcony outside our cottage. The food was tasty and generously portioned. They also provided ample drinking water.
