“Very peaceful and relaxing resort”

Absolutely everything. The peacefulness of the location was perfect for me. The food was delicious even though I am a picky eater I tried everything and enjoyed most of it. Some things were not to my taste but that's on me. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the chef Sajith could out cook Gordon Ramsey! The host Pubudu was amazing, speaks perfect English, he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, he was at the door every morning (I liked it so much I extended my stay to 3 nights) making sure I was ready to go on the safari trip which was arranged via the hotel as they have their own jeep and driver who was excellent (I wish I could remember his name) I am already planning on a return visit as I got the feeling that nobody wants you to leave, they are that friendly it's like they knew me before I got there. “Relaxing and bird watching”

This place is so quiet and lovely, you have your own terrace and look at the river, the pool is very nice too (maybe not that clean, but clean enough :D). We really enjoyed our stay there, for the price it is awesome! The food was very good too, big portions and very tasty. For two people the room was a good size (2 double beds), but for four people there might be few space... Be aware of the dogs at night and close the gate if you don't want them on your terrace. We also booked our safari with the hotel, it was the cheapest we found and pretty good: 60$ for 6 hours and two people, excluding the entry for the national park. So we can recommend that place for a relaxing time and bird watching, we enjoyed it over there!

I couldn't fault Birds Paradise Inn. It was conveniently close to Udawala National Park for the safari. Really friendly staff, nice comfortable room, nice food and a swimming pool for the kids to play in and entertain themselves. We only stayed the one night but it was perfect for what we needed.

We had an excellent stay. We are a family with 3 small children. We asked to arranged us a transfer from Ella to the accommodation and we got a lovely driver, he arrived on time, we highly recommend him and he also drove us to the next destination. We could just trust him for a safe trip and it was an excellent Van with air conditioning and room for all our things. The place arranged us a safari tour with the guide name Lasa. The owner of the place prepared an excellent meal for us for breakfast so that we could eat at the safari, a large and delicious breakfast.  The guide Lasa was really nice, helped with everything, explained everything, made us a really good and fun experience with the kids in the safari. We highly recommend to take him.  The restaurant in the hotel is tasty, we had both breakfast and lunch and everything was delicious. Everyone is so nice and helped with everything. Highly recommend to come for hospitality

Where do I start? This place is the coziest place I have ever stayed in. The room is super clean and has a warm feeling. The staff are beyond amazing. They went above and beyond to give us such an amazing experience. The chef is so talented, and the food was really tasty. You have to stay in this place and I'm sure you will have the same experience and be amazed.We would definitely come back and recommend to stay at this place! Love u guys <3

“Best place, especially for birders and relaxation.”

Fantastic location, great service and lovely grounds. You will love if a bird watcher as many species in grounds. Would have loved to stay longer, recommend highly.

“Perfect location”

Location is perfect to get early in the morning to the national park. Only 2 km away from main entrance. Just a 5 min work to the lake of the national park, where you can see at the sunset the elephants coming. The pool is also perfect after an early morning safari to relax in the afternoon. All together perfect location!

“Surrounded by nature and calmness”

Birds Paradise Inn is an amazing place with bungalows in the middle of a big green garden. In front you have a river. You can see and hear birds, sometimes you also meet a monkey. We loved our stay there surrounded by nature and calmness. The staff was very kind and always helpful. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We felt very welcome.

“Good staying, super food and safari”

the location of hotel is very good for morning safari. The pool is very nice and clean. We had a jeep for safari from the hotel, and it was very good choice. The driver was very nice and helpful, we saw a lot of animals. Breakfest and meals from restaurant were very delicious. Staff was really nice.

Staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay even better. The pool was really nice and a good size. Room has plenty of space and was clean. Shower was very warm. Restaurant food was very good and priced fairly. Staff arranged safari which was an unreal experience and the price was very good. Lasa, our guide was perfect he knew so much and was great at spotting animals. He was super friendly as well. Communication was very good even from before we arrived. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in the area. Excellent value for money.
